Is it? I do not stand absolutely immoveable on this ground as if my say must be the final say, but the common interpretations I have heard from others really do not fit the whole picture I have seen. I also see still as through a glass darkly which is why I do not insist it is right and all...

@Nancy @BarnyFife @Backlit @Helen @101G @Hidden In Him @stredaleve @Heart2Soul @Mayflower @Triumph1300 and @everyone else interested... And where is heaven, the place some sing about wanting to make it their home? Was not Jesus in heaven whilst still walking around on planet Earth as a...

And then let us consider these verses: "The ungodly are not so: but are like the chaff which the wind driveth away. Therefore the ungodly shall not stand in the judgment, nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous. For the LORD knoweth the way of the righteous: but the way of the...

How 'eternal' is hell? How long is the suffering of one who dies in unbelief? The fire that consumes and causes those within it to wail and gnash their teeth is God, Himself. He is the consuming fire [Deut 4:24, Deut 9:3, Heb 12:29]. The results of direct contact with God is shown by example...

And the place people we see are in now without God is not a hell? David chose rather to suffer at the hands of God than at the hands of men. Is that a strange thing? "So Gad came to David, and told him, and said unto him, Shall seven years of famine come unto thee in thy land? or wilt thou...

@FluffyYellowDuck Joining you in prayer here. Record snowfalls expected here in Oklahoma with a record number of days expected where the thermometer never rises above the freezing mark. My wife and I in our snug little apartment are good. We'll take one day at the time and give God the glory!

@Holy999 "For we dare not make ourselves of the number, or compare ourselves with some that commend themselves: but they measuring themselves by themselves, and comparing themselves among themselves, are not wise." II Cor 10:12

Are not many people today effectively dead and in the grave in the eyes of God? All of us were there, but Jesus was sent into this place of death, this grave, this hell, this prison of ours and he preached to us. Some of us listened and are listening. Some of us have done something right with...

@Available Light Warum sprechen wir auf Englisch? Why do we speak in English? I used the phrase because I was not quoting scripture but asking a question. God's mercy endures forever as He endures forever and those who endure with Him to the end of their course. He is a merciful God, full of...

What about rather than burning for eternity those who don't know Him when they run out of time [physical death] simply die into an unending death? Jesus paid the price to reopen the closed gate/door into Life, but not many people are willing to admit the need to do anything even by the power of...

@My Dreams Praying!

@Mayflower Give God the glory sister! Our city has a mask mandate and our apartment complex has a mask mandate. Outside my apartment [my home] I wear a mask wherever I go. I do see people who flaunt not wearing a mask before others. So far no enforcement measures. I had to take my wife to a...

Praying also now!

Praying for him!

Also praying! @SkaraBrae Some people see the prayer request and pray without posting. Surely it is not required for a person to post in order to pray. Only God needs to hear the prayer.

@Holy999 What should these words be the key to? You need to clarify that in order for people to understand your question and properly answer it.

What was Jesus answer to anyone sincerely asking? Was it different than yours? "Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you: For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened. Or...

We do walk by faith and then the Master touches our eyes so that we not completely blind to God and things of God. We will be we are seeing as through glass darkly or seeing men as trees walking. Another touch or touches by the Master are needed. The vision needs to be improving. That is to say...

@Holy999 Here 3,000 years ago God gave Solomon the words to write about a vision. We may sure that he was writing about God's vision: "Where there is no vision, the people perish:..." Prov. 29:18
