@Webers_Home " especially since Christ said that the majority ends up there." And we wonder why more people don't want to be "Christians"!! THAT above is your "Good News"?!! THAT is your message of amazing grace?!!! THAT is the refection of a loving Father?!!! I just can't wait for...

Then I misunderstood the OP, maybe others did too!!

Yes, God had spoken for us to get rid of everything because we were to move to Canada. So, ......we did what He said.

Interesting. @Decopymope Isn't Heaven anywhere God Himself is? God IS, right now....We are told in the scriptures that He dwells in heaven...it is a realm. The earth will be "a new earth"...don't you feel that it will be a heavenly realm too? ....or do you believe that it will be...

Amen...very good scriptures for this thread. :)

Imitating is nothing more than parroting and "acting if"...it is CHANGE that is needed...not imitation. God is "making man in His image and likeness"... not making a puppet that can just imitate Him.

Then why? What is the reason? Did He do this just so we would have a choice? Or did He do this because His glory shines brighter against the backdrop of darkness?

Interesting. If there is no future 'anything' then what are the lessons of this life getting us ready for...? A pretty corpse?

When we read of Noah and the flood, God says that “every thought of man’s heart was only evil continually,” and that “the earth was filled with violence, and all flesh had corrupted his way upon the earth.” If not before, wouldn’t this be the ideal time to reveal eternal torment ahead for...

Is that not where the fear of the Lord comes in? Which in my case, is not really fear OF the Lord, but fear of me? Me, who cannot be trusted...which means me in my old man. If we lock into what David said- " I have set the Lord always before my face, He is at my right hand I shall not be...

Agree, it is not what the bible says...it is all in what we each 'think' that the bible says!!! Trouble is, we don't all come to the same conclusion! But, that said...we are each responsible before God for what He has spoken to us. THat's where our obedience comes into the picture.

When God put Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden, He never mentioned eternal torment to them. Read it for yourself...it’s just not there. Don’t you think it ’s strange that as human history began and while God explained which tree they could not eat of, that He didn’t give the parents of all...

...Oh, as for a Bucket List, we have never had one...still don't. If we really believe that God leads us and keeps us...then we have no unfulfilled 'wants'. I have believed for years.. Ps 16.5 "The LORD is the portion of my inheritance and my cup ".

1) Done that 1975..gave all out stuff away to friends, family, neighbours and those in need. 2)Move from England and arrived here in Feb 1976 with just a case each of clothes, a few favourite books and photo's. 3) did learn that most everything we were spoon fed was not all true. But kept the...

Don't bother to write about the trinity. We on this Site have had MANY many trinity threads....Please don't think you are the first person who has come onto this Site thinking that we need to be taught about the pro's and con's of the trinity. Trust me..there has already been many.

Brother, you are spouting a load of old rubbish...someone sold you some lemons..and you have believed it. The more you write, the less credibility you have! It sounds like a joke. Not too many people are 'buying' it.
