10 Surprising Things That Impair Your Intelligence

Good one!! I didn't know about the dim lighting. Interesting. I don't own a cell phone so no worries there. I found the multi-tasking an interesting one. I would have thought it would have helped not hindered...so I'll stop that. :D Sugar...a failing of mine...I like cookies and...

Every Experience the Brain Perceives is Unique

Maybe this is off subject...but do you think our conscience is in our brain or our soul? Did you live by your conscience before you were a believer..and how much is the conscience still in play today in the Christian? This is my 'todays muse'.

Leviticus, a sacrifice is a victim

Thank you...I have read your post...but need more to see the significant meaning to us today? Are you preaching "Types and shadows" or what? How is this applied to us today?

Every Experience the Brain Perceives is Unique

Thanks...I just read it. I am annoyed to say that I know that now in my 70's I can tell that my brain is slower. Especially late afternoon and evenings. I can come on here in an evening and find long posts impossible to digest. This is very annoying and I'm not sure what to do to improve...

    The Inquisitions

I got born again in 1961, I was 22. My dad gave me two books that week...one was "Foxe's book of Martyrs " and the other one was C.S.Lewis's book "The Screwtape Letters" Those two books almost un-born me again :D :D They both scared me spitless. My dad was not always the wisest ...but a great...

    The SBC of Two Gospels…

Agree. There is only ONE "GOOD NEWS"... Maybe broken down in segments for easier digesting and how to live IN the Good News...but agree...there is not more than one Gospel, one Good News ...Just One Lamb is enough.

Beware!! Iran ( old persia) Tiny Israel must Initiate a first strike very soon!

Im not sure I remember that one...but I remember the one taken from the book of Esther:- " If I perish, I perish, but I am going to see the King " The one that would really get the meeting going was- " It is the Time, to take the kingdom, rise up ye sons 'tis God's command, for every power...

    Baptism question that seems unbiblical

I have known people who preach that we cannot sin but only transgress ( I never could see the difference there!) When I was 22 I was taught that "instant confession is instant cleansing" ...therefore we always walk in the light. Now at 76 I am not sure what is considered 'sin' by God...

God talked only to Israelite's saying this-

Agree...a Temple not built with hands. "Howbeit the most High dwelleth not in temples made with hands; as saith the prophet, Heaven is my throne, and the earth my footstool. What sort of house will you build for me? says the Lord, or what will be my resting place?" Acts 17:24 "The God who...

    Nature To Nature Relationship

Are you using "nature" in the place of heart?

    Baptism question that seems unbiblical

AMEN!! A man after my own heart...agree. Roman to me is the pivotal book in the bible. Especially once we get hold of what Paul is saying in Romans 8 "For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus , has made me free from the law of sin and death..." for what the law could not do...

Can a person be a Christian and also believe in evolution?

Amen I agree. I believe deep down God hid something within us allowing us to 'know' the truth, if we allow it to be uncovered. I think as children what is called the conscience = inner feeling...Voice...Has always been in play...I believe God guides us if we would but listen to the nudge. So...

those who think that God shouldn't be feared, are fools

I don't fear God in a fear kind of way...but I do find I can fear at the thought of a life without God. That would be no life at all. Even before I was saved, I feared the thought of not ending up with God, I never feared "hell". I'm not sure I have ever believed in Hell, only as a place...

    Baptism question that seems unbiblical
