I was being facetious. Isn't that the typical response from those on the left? All the evidence in the world won't convince them, even if Trump comes back from the dead.

The humility, the condescension, the meekness of the Creator and Lord of the universe to eternally become human, giving His own life as a ransom for mankind... You are right my friend, none of us fully comprehend the sacrifice offered... From the moment even before creation when God, knowing...

Totally inadmissable. That man speaking cannot be trusted. He's a racist bigoted chuauvanistic right wing horrid person. He's a liar. How do I know this? He was wearing a red tie. Dead give away.

I never said the Catholic Church isn't spoken of in scripture. It most certainly is, just not in the way you would like it. In the Convert’s Catechism of Catholic Doctrine, we read: Q. Which is the Sabbath day? A. Saturday is the Sabbath day. Q. Why do we observe Sunday instead of Saturday...

Whichever individual or group that continued in the faith throughout history and didn't apostatize. And there were many, all of whom refused to accept the traditions and innovations of Rome. Do you understand that the true church was always the church in the wilderness, not the state sanctioned...

KJV Galatians 2:20 20 I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me. The finishing of the mystery of God is the ending of the work of...

Just realised I posted this on the wrong thread.

The various texts referring to mystery all referred to the same thing, except perhaps the one regarding the Resurrection. But mungo answered the question...

God doesn't confine Himself to your understanding of His scriptures. He doesn't even confine Himself to scripture. He won't contradict it of course, but there's a great deal going on in God's kingdom than is revealed in His word. And He does indeed inspire people and give them insight into...

Think about this as you contemplate the real possibility of a Biden presidency. When Israel was in dire straights through sin and apostasy, God didn't blame the Philistines, the Moabites, the Egyptians or even the Babylonians. The church today isn't falling short of it's holy and high calling...

Just to upset some, I wrote this a week after Trump was elected in 2016. People need to start reading their Bibles and stop listening to the many false prophets that inundate our airwaves. Revelation 13 is not about an evil tyrant forcing the world to do evil. It is about an apostate Christian...

Its well known that if you park your car/MPV/motorhome in the car park at Mt Cook to go skiing, the likelihood of returning to find your wiper blades missing and all the rubber elsewhere on your vehicle dismantled by the Kea is quite high.

That's amazing. I think it was Josho who told me about this fella...

@Marymog Why would we trust that God unconditionally promised His church and its fraudulently convened councils to be the foundation of truth when that same church spent centuries justifying its own greed, covetousness and political ambitions based on a forgery? (The Donation of Constantine)...

I am 100% confident. If I am not confident in what I believe on a particular topic, I don't teach it and am honest as to why. As for Catholic doctrines opposed to scripture, i can point out one very obvious one that even Catholics freely admit to. Sunday sacredness. Your church boasts of its own...

There are no native snakes in New Zealand but apparently there is a small enclave of red belly blacks on the west coast of the south island in an old gold mining area obviously imported from here on a ship. And there has been the odd report from time to time of salt water crocs managing the trip...

Okay, now you've reminded me of another time when we were living back in NZ and living in the country. We had a large tree at the back of the house which produced an abundance of red berries. It's called Puriri. Native birds love the berries, as well as the nectar from the flowers, which grow so...
