A 6.8 quake is really scary. May the Lord help them all.

So sorry. May God give him strength and peace.

This made me laugh.

Another interesting video by Scammer Payback who also collects evidence to send to the police. Scammer thinks they are talking to an elderly woman.

Being a nature lover, you might enjoy seeing one of the large, donated botanical gardens near Los Angeles. It has several different types of gardens plus the huge home. https://huntington.org/botanical-gardens

Are there any endangered species....animals, birds or even frogs or fish? If so, no development of that property would be allowed. At least that's how it goes in California. You might also contact PETA... People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals. They are very vocal and often protest...

The large arboretums and public gardens of which I speak were homes/acreage donated to the County or City after their deaths. However, I think you said there was no home on the property. So I thought maybe your city might appreciate some parkland being donated. Only for wildlife and the...

P.S. If all else fails, I wonder if you could donate the land to be used only as a wildlife park area? In California some people with lovely homes with acreage would donate the land to the State or County. The properties were donated to remain as arboretums and are enjoyed by many citizens...

Hopefully he can tell you what political representative to contact that represents your district. Also, you might check if Legal Aid is in your area. That is free legal aid. Here in California you would be applauded for trying to provide wildlife habitat...in the midst of a concrete jungle...

I agree. If someone continually refuses to do any work to help themselves, when we give to them, it enables them to continue in their refusal to work. "...nor did we eat anyone’s bread free of charge, but worked with labor and toil night and day, that we might not be a burden to any of...

The gigantic bank (don't want to name them) I talked to transferred me to the check fraud department. Then to the wire fraud department. I don't really like that bank too much. Our other bank is huge, too, but they seem to always treat people very nicely. It's Wells Fargo....they have...

You are blessed to have your bank help you. The latest data breach involving my mom which also includes her direct deposit info (bank account)....the (major) bank didn't really help me. All they said was to close the account and make a new one. But she has two (small) direct deposits...

I only have a landline. After hearing about so many scams and how tricky they are about making you think they are your bank, I'm glad I don't do banking on a cell phone. Just watched on YouTube how a couple of ladies got their savings stolen by thinking it was their bank on the cell phone. I...

Yes, it's really horrible how things got with people's information going all over the cyber world. You probably know about The Dark Web....but probably some don't know about it. It's where criminals do all sorts of illegal activities including selling information on innocent people to steal...

Thanks very much for your reply and your insight. Will remember your request. I attended a Korean church for about three years as my other churches became extremely liberal. The Korean church was a Bible believing church. But once they decided to have memberships, they wouldn't serve me...

I budget. If I don't need something, I don't buy it. Sometimes I wonder about some people who are on welfare (government assistance). They have fancy hair done at salons, tattoos, pierced ears and lots of earrings, etc. Seems to me if you claim you need assistance, that you should be more...

My bank is now using my voice to identify me when I phone in. Something new.... usually I just punched in my pin.

It's interesting to learn of the current spiritual state in South Korea. Please keep us updated... maybe start a separate topic? I always heard there were many Koreans that would wake up very early for prayer meetings before they went to work. Here in Los Angeles we have the second largest...

Because of the rampant criminal element in the cyber world, that's going to usher in the mark of the beast. Something with my mom's pension got hacked. What a stress for me. She's 93 and can't hear, so I had to try to handle it all. First tried to sign her up for the free two years of...

This is a new scam involving crypto. https://www.christianityboard.com/threads/note-a-new-scam-pig-butchering.57733/
