    'Good' in Genesis 1

God's justice equates to liberation not punishment. When God said to Adam you will surely die if you eat the fruit, was God talking about punishment or consequence? I think consequence because God's primary M.O is to deliver from oppression....even that of death.

Why was Adam easily manipulated if man is made in God's image?

Why was Adam easily manipulated if man is made in God's image? I'd say it was because he loved Eve.

    'Good' in Genesis 1

How does one cause calamities, troubles, destruction and death when one loves the the recipients of these dark things.....or could it be that God is schizophrenic and has no problem being inconsistent?

God changed Seventh Day Sabbath Worship to First Day of the Week

I think your perception of what remembering the Sabbath consists of is used to excuse yourself in spite of Jesus defining it for those who would use any pretext to cast a poor light on its adherents.

God changed Seventh Day Sabbath Worship to First Day of the Week

God changed Seventh Day Sabbath Worship to First Day of the Week

God has never changed that day. Man has attempted to change it with many smooth words.....History tells us how it came about and who it was and is very proud claiming this 'change' as a mark of its authority.....just as the scripture foretold!

    'Good' in Genesis 1

No, thats not the reason Ronald. The reason is to reconcile what the scriptures say. It tells us that God does not change; that he is the same yesterday, tomorrow and forever. It also tells us he has no darkness and that his M.O is love. I believe he is the love demonstrated in Jesus. A non...

God changed Seventh Day Sabbath Worship to First Day of the Week

You have got yourself tangled in your own imaginations Curtis. The 4th Commandment is straightforward and clear with no ambiguity whatsoever. It is as clear if not clearer than the other nine because it gives the reason for remembering it. If you choose to create a web around it to diminish or...

    'Good' in Genesis 1

It is necessary to understand that the Old Testament writers did not have the same concept of the devil as we do today. The concept we have today is because Jesus filled us in on information which the OT writers did not have. The OT writers saw God as responsible for both good and bad which...
