When You See the Abomination of Desolation Stand in the Holy Place

Ah yes...Does Israel mean all the physical descendants of Abraham? The Pharisees boasted of being children of Abraham and the generation who died in the desert in Moses time were also physical children of Abraham. Does this mean they were children of Abraham in the sense that the NT means, ie...

When You See the Abomination of Desolation Stand in the Holy Place

yes, Jesus is the seed....not Abraham's physical descendants. All are invited but only a few choose to come.....others excuse themselves.....and so all Israel will be saved. Do you get it?

When You See the Abomination of Desolation Stand in the Holy Place

This is Jewish idiom. Salvation is for man ie, the human race. God does not segregate or seperate by ethnicity.

When You See the Abomination of Desolation Stand in the Holy Place

It is true, the Temple was destroyed in 70AD but its significance finished when Jesus died 31AD. If you recall, the curtain separating the Holy from the Most Holy was torn supernaturally from the top down signifying that God was done with the sacrifices of animals.....however, the Jews continued...

When You See the Abomination of Desolation Stand in the Holy Place

yes, speaking in metaphor again because I don't think he meant you don't stop forgiving at 490. He was saying, you never stop forgiving....just like your father in heaven

When You See the Abomination of Desolation Stand in the Holy Place

Israel in the true sense are God's people...he will not cast them off.....people globally from every age and culture. Paul goes to lengths to explain that being a Jew in the real sense (Israel) has not got to do with physical circumcision or being a member of a particular ethnicity (nation) The...

When You See the Abomination of Desolation Stand in the Holy Place

Consider the chart below, marks. Daniel is praying for his people. Gabriel arrives mid prayer and tells him his peoples days are numbered and goes through the process of breaking the time period given, down. The time given is 70 weeks of years ie, 490 literal years. This period starts with the...

I am surprised at your question because you to use the following expression in post #112.... 'Just for the record, I think a temple will be built in Jerusalem following the Gog/Magog destruction, at which time the church is raptured, during the 70th week of Daniel'. Your question indicates you...

When You See the Abomination of Desolation Stand in the Holy Place

You divide scripture against itself, Waiting on him. If congruency is to be maintained one must use exegesis not eisegesis.

When You See the Abomination of Desolation Stand in the Holy Place

Jesus hasn't returned in the way described by him in Matthew 24 or described by Paul in 1 Thessalonians 4 or 1 Corinthians 15.....it is this event which the scripture terms, 'the day of the Lord'

When You See the Abomination of Desolation Stand in the Holy Place

the return the scripture speaks of is as was promised in Acts 1:9-11 9After he said this, he was taken up before their very eyes, and a cloud hid him from their sight. 10They were looking intently up into the sky as he was going, when suddenly two men dressed in white stood beside them. 11“Men...

When You See the Abomination of Desolation Stand in the Holy Place

A misunderstanding of the 70 weeks prophecy in Daniel will throw all eschatology into a confusing and wrong direction. The error is the separation of the 70th week from the continuum of the prophecy. This view is one of eisegesis not exegesis.

When You See the Abomination of Desolation Stand in the Holy Place

yes, this abomination is progressive....it builds and builds.....it will attempt to enslave the whole world and then 'the day' will come where it is cut short by Jesus' return. His return will be a rescue mission for God's people.
