I would guess because it was quicker and faster than the sword, which has been carried 'almost' since time began!!

Salvation for man = The Cross of Jesus Christ. = Done. ..and done well.

I can hear what you are saying. And I can see how people see it that way. But...that is still punishing the responsible law abiding citizens for the crimes of the crazy angry irresponsible ones. :( If I blame anyone...and that is a big IF. It would be Hollywood and TV for promoting...

Amen...totally agree.

I wrote that because I believe it! We could ban all types of drugs too.." because they may be misused" It pretty much goes for everything. To blame the object.. be it Gun or vehicle...takes all responsibility away for the persons owning them!! So,... I stand by my argument. :)

It would be one in the eye for The Enemy of souls though, wouldn't it? :)

The thing is...I'm not totally sure that it isn't true in many cases :D For sure obsession.

Haha! Right on time. When my brother used to eat a lot, my mum used to laugh and say..."he must have worms." Down our street all the mothers de-wormed their kids every summer... Tasted like yucky bitter chocolate. Just like we get our dog de-wormed every year. :D

Agree...and one of the chips on my should is people who state that what they say is 100% correct. Not too many will write "in my opinion" or " this is what I believe"...they write as if they are school teachers and have the last word. As I have said before...that just shows a...

Like mosquito spray...they could also be a deterrent.

A gun does nothing...it is the idiots who misuse them that are the problem. Cars do nothing...both can be a blessing or a weapon...depends who holds it. A gun can kill a snake...or kill a person...it is an inanimate object ...it does nothing. A car is an inanimate object....it just depends...

Oh to be young again when we never used to worry about our weight. Ha! I think when young we just burn it up with a fast metabolism. Plus they always stay busy so they burn it up quicker than we do. :)

Wow that is hot! This may be a stupid question ...but when it’s nice and hot there , do you still get “winter flu’s” or is it only closed doors and central heating the spreads germs? To me coughs, colds and flu are winter things. Your sun sounds healthy. While your records are warmth...

Very true indeed....good post. Do you remember the 70's- 80's when there were demons in every doorknob that needed casting out! True, the Enemy enjoys any attention and anyone talking about Him..

Did you know that the words we speak to ourselves..the thoughts we dwell on, receive, and personalize affect who we are? Everything we do flows from them. That’s why it’s so important for us to guard our hearts from allowing any junk to enter. Be diligent to guard our hearts today. And, as we...

I have always thought that David's heart smote him because he had humiliated Saul..The King...God's anointed. David honoured the anointing. Saul was 'uncovered' and humiliated before his men. Here he is, the leader of his army...allowing the enemy to sneak right into camp and cut off...

Well Grams, that does sound wonderful. Even if she is seriously interested and seeking she will find God... Funny how we talk about "finding God" and it does seem to us, as if we find Him...yet we know He is the Good Shepherd and He does the seeking and drawing. :)
