You did not answer my question. Why did you ask the question you asked @mjrhealth: Are you a Jehovah's witness? You had already drawn a conclusion based on a 'Yes" answer. You have apparently concluded that any JW is lost. A JW or a Mormon or a Catholic or an unbeliever cannot possible...

The scripture the devil quoted at Jesus had no Life in it, but the scripture Jesus spoke back at the devil was Alive. The difference for you and me is the quickening [bringing to Life] Spirit, that is... the Holy Spirit. When people quench the Holy Spirit in themselves the verses from the Bible...

Years ago, I remember my uncle working in a slaughter house standing before the full dead critter with a knife in his hand trimming off the various parts. Even so... but he was an expert at his job knowing just what and where to cut. So it is with the Living Word of God in us... if we are...

"Judge not, that ye be not judged. For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again." Matt 7:1-2

If he were to say, yes, would that alone condemn him before God? If not, why ask it?

@sho A whole lot of presumptions in there depending on the definitions of the words of men. God knows all the definitions that each man has in his heart even if the man himself cannot express them so that other men can understand them. Is this also why then that God is the final judge? Who will...

Give God the glory as we ask Him to always keep us where He directs us!

Praying with you on this!

Oh I do hear clearly what you are saying and personally I stand strongly opposed to abortion. The problem is that not everyone sees what you see or what I see... not the whole picture. Believers start out as babies and need to grow. Where do they get their nourishment? What have they already...

I remember when during Eisenhauer's Presidency "under God" was inserted into the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag. Then many years later they tried to take Him out of the schools altogether. If God is in someone's heart, who can remove Him? As to believing in Jesus, how many devils believe...

Hello Billy Hope all is well with you and the Lord

We should not presume that. I have known personally in recent years one very nice Christian lady who works hard for God and is very strongly opposed to abortion. She is also a Democrat.

@Holy999 Keep on striving my friend and asking God for His help!

Truly sorry to see you go. We also had some differences as you probably remember, but you have had many posts on this with points of view that needed to be expressed. You will be sorely missed. May God richly bless you as you continue to walk with Him in other Places.

Thank you for understanding that! In any case, welcome to the forum!

Give God the glory!

Indeed! It is time to do the work that God gave us to do... and we will not accomplish it in the political arenas of men using their own carnal weapons! "I must work the works of him that sent me, while it is day: the night cometh, when no man can work. As long as I am in the world, I am the...

I do understand only too well the ways of some of those in power, but they are not God and I am not here to please selfish men. Going after evil doers using their methods is not the Way. Jesus alone among men was completely unselfish and He did not accuse anyone falsely. My goal is to become...
