@Stranger Excellent answer. :)

I like him a lot. :)

You are free to suggest anything.... lol, and I am free to disagree :D You are always so sceptical...I expect if the Lord Himself appeared before you, you would like Thomas say ..."I don't believe it...show me proof." lol

Obviously asking questions. Mary asked questions. Samson father ask questions.. "Manoah said to the angel of the Lord, “We would like you to stay until we prepare a young goat for you.” 16 The angel of the Lord replied, “Even though you detain me, I will not eat any of your food. But if you...

"I have set the LORD always before me: because He is at my right hand, I shall not be moved." Psalms 16:8, "Shall not be moved"........what an inspiring declaration! Is it possible that we, who are so easily moved by the things of earth, can arrive at a place our life where nothing can...

And in the 80's I was so hoping Alberta could split and join Montana. There was much talk and meetings...but to no avail. But I must say I was hoping Jean Charest would have made it to PM..I liked him. Pity that he lost it.

I used to be anti TV ...and I can't stand regular TV or news...but we have a TV. We have it for the reason on watching our collection of good movies and shows from England...we miss England it's beautiful countryside and it's humour and great actors...so..yes, we have a TV for the screen to play...

I cannot agree that the gospel is revealed 'through The Church'...through God's Word ...I can say yes, but- "faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of God.." Romans 10:17

Amen to that! ✟

I haven't read the other people's posts yet...but what made me smile was your word 'revelation'. I do not believe that what God dictated to Moses...all the laws, ordinances, measurements for every tabernacle vessel and the building of the tabernacle and Ark itself...was done by revelation...

We know for sure that we should not pray to angels. Which is what those links were about. Agree. No where does it say "do not talk to angels." If an angel spoke to me, I for sure would answer him... Mary answered Gabriel. Abraham spoke to the three angels that visited him. Lot spoke...

Glad that you can get on the site again :) Interesting Thread. I am a great believer in angels because the bible speaks so much about them. I love the verses in 2 Kings 6:17- Where Elisha asks God to- "open the young man's eyes so that he may see." And he saw the chariots and angels all...

If we agree that Jesus took it all..and became all that we were to God. Then have have to agree that The bronze serpent on the pole is the clearest type of the saving work of Jesus at Calvary. ✟ God Himself commanded Moses to make the brazen serpent ..knowing that the serpent was a type of...

:) Too true John...being British I just can't pass up this opportunity to agree here. :D :D

@Frank Lee ...thank you for you honest posting. That was indeed a heartbreaker. @Trump0101 just started a thread on "making pearl's" reminding us that irritants cause a pearl to be made. You and you wife obviously "covered" this bit of irritating grit and stopped it hurting by "making...

Our's here in Canada is nasty again. VERY cold..-20C and a bit of snow again. My feet are cold here in the house :(

Thank you for that...nice post. I don't have any fresh thoughts...but thank you for the good reminder...I do have same irritants in my life, it's good to be reminded that they are working 'for my good'. :)
