And the unbroken bones of Jesus hold up and together the Body of Christ! What happens to the bones of men? "Then came the soldiers, and brake the legs of the first, and of the other which was crucified with him. But when they came to Jesus, and saw that he was dead already, they brake not his...

Certainly the Word of God is alive, but the unread Bible on a shelf is Not the Word of God. It has the potential that the dead body of Jesus had. The potential went to kinetic when it came to Life again, it resurrected. That is the way every man born to woman is. He is dead until and if he is...

The written scripture is the body, the dead body, of Christ. Jesus brought us Life so it might be quickened in us by the Life given Spirit. Then as He arose from the dead, so might we also rise from the dead!

People want to be comfortable and your testimony speaks to them of the evil things happening to people now! If that makes them uncomfortable there is something wrong with where they are with God... and they certainly don't want to hear discomforting things. Not every person in every assembly...

@My Dreams Joining you here in prayer!

Sift it carefully in study... and definitely in prayer, but don't insist on an answer from man or God. If you 'need' [as opposed to 'want'] an answer and you are faithful to Him, God will in His time [not ours] provide it.

There is much to be seen and as we see by our own readings/studies and those cited by others even on this forum, the conclusions of every person are not always the same. What is God's message to me or to you or to the other guy? We need to be talking to Him regularly and listening closely... not...

@Nancy Then back to Jacob and Israel...! What is the difference between Jacob and Israel? bq[y Ya`aqob (yah-ak-obe'); Proper Name Masculine, Strong #: 3290 Jacob = "heel holder" or "supplanter" son of Isaac, grandson of Abraham, and father of the 12 patriarchs of the tribes of Israel...

One problem I have seen is the difference between what God is saying to us and what He is saying to the natural children of Jacob/Israel, the son of Isaac. Often or even always what God said to those people living on planet Earth at that time was also spoken to people living on planet Earth...

Even so but then again... just who is Israel? "Not as though the word of God hath taken none effect. For they are not all Israel, which are of Israel:" Rom 9:6 ÅIsrahvl Israel (is-rah-ale'); Word Origin: Hebrew, Adjective, Strong #: 2474 Israel = "he shall be a prince of God" the name...

I agree that God has an order. One might say that within His order, there is a hierarchy, but types and shadows are still just that. Which church, if any, of the ones men name as churches is the one that is precisely in God order? Which one, if any, has moved from type or shadow to Reality...

@mjrhealth @Nancy @justbyfaith @Truman Ron Coates @Ronald Nolette @Billy Evmur @FollowHim @Stumpmaster @BarnyFife @Christophany @Prayer Warrior @Gideons300 What I see in the Bible is the dead body of Jesus as it was when it was hanging on the cross. He had died. There was no Life in...

And who among us now already has a clearer vision than the Apostle Paul when God inspired him to write these words? "For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face: now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known." I Cor 13:12 Did not Paul refer to himself also...

Where to O Lord? The "Ugly American"! Is it only an obsolete stereotype of the unbelieving careless atheist, the unusual one, who is loud and arrogant and ignorant about the ways of anyone who is Not one he considers as one of his own... the Americans? Who are these Americans? Are they all...

@Stuart Welcome to the forum!

Praying for all here indeed! Give God the glory!

Thank you for your kind words and that simple message. What a mighty God we serve!

Well dear sister in the Lord may God richly bless you as you proceed with Him through one more year.

For many years when I was attending a church where their services were held at 4:30PM on Sunday afternoon, I would almost always enjoy visiting other churches in the area for their morning services. I did that for years until the Lord called us out of there. We moved 50 miles to do God's work...

Sorry to check in here so late. It has been a long day for a day when most people are off of work. I've been retired from secular work for 20 years, so holidays don't impact my life style much unless my family other than my wife are around. So I work the work that is needed when it is needed and...
