"But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint." Isaiah 40:31 For several years in the period following my baptism with the Holy Ghost in 1976, I had a recurring dream...

When I began school as a 1st grader in 1949 [Harry Truman was President] I memorized that pledge without the words, "one nation under God". In 1954 while I was still in elementary school under President Dwight D. Eisenhower the "One nation under God" was officially added and from then until now...

Some people are really doubtful about this! In any case, give God the glory!

Yes, as I have also discovered, we have not yet scratched the surface of God. We are chuggin' along making headway... or so we think and suddenly there is a whole brand new horizon before us.

Part II from Kerry: The second thing I note is the golden girdle. Now gold in Heaven is clear as John informs us; and this girdle divides the figure as the firmament of Heaven divides the heavens. Moreover it should not escape us that the figure is described as both male and female. It has...

@Ziggy Here is a study of interest by our old member here @Guiliano AKA Kerry: Is there time in Heaven? The real truth, I think, is that time doesn't exist anywhere, let alone in Heaven. Time is an illusion. So is space. But let's look at the Bible. Yes, time is part of the natural or carnal...

And is there to be an end to time itself? "And the angel which I saw stand upon the sea and upon the earth lifted up his hand to heaven, And sware by him that liveth for ever and ever, who created heaven, and the things that therein are, and the earth, and the things that therein are, and the...

God gave these words to Solomon to write down 3,000 years ago and they are still true: "Every way of a man is right in his own eyes: but the LORD pondereth the hearts." Prov 21:2

Perhaps many people fight for control of those outer lands called by names like United Kingdom, Viet Nam, United States, France, etc. and some are seemingly ready to shed the red blood of people to accomplish it. Are those the right wars to fight? If we come to the mastery in such a war, what...

@Holy999 You have as much time as you have left. Don't worry about planet Earth.

I am a native born American with roots in England, Continental Europe and also in part in those, who were here when Columbus arrived. I grew up primarily in California as a good Catholic boy and served on active duty faithfully in the US Army. I was stationed at Ft Monmouth NJ when JFK was...

Even so, many "truths" whereas in the scripture, Jesus confirms that He is Truth. Is it Him leading us through the Holy Spirit or is it our own mind or some mixture of the two? Very likely, I believe, most everyone has a mixture which is not good as we see when we consider the origins of the...
