The many errors and contradictions found in Amillennialism.

The dead in Christ do not have to be bodily resurrected in order to be alive (zao). I don't think you are one who believes in soul sleep and I believe you know that souls can be alive without bodies because that is exactly what is portrayed here: Revelation 6:9 When he opened the fifth seal, I...

The many errors and contradictions found in Amillennialism.

What Premills need to answer is why the word "zao" is used in verse 4, but the word "anazao" is used in verse 5 if they are both talking about people being bodily resurrected? The word "zao" is NOT a word used to described someone being resurrected, but the word "anazao" is. This cannot be...

The many errors and contradictions found in Amillennialism.

This makes no sense whatsoever. You say it says "they came to life", but then look at what you reference there. Strong's Greek 2198, which is the word "zao" and you even show there that it means "to live, be alive". What gives here? To live and be alive does not require someone to be bodily...

Surely Premils must invent 2 future glorifications days and 2 future raptures separated by 1000 years+?

No, they absolutely are not. Please address my post #11. Tell me how you interpret Zechariah 14. Do you believe in future animal sacrifices? How do you think Malachi 4 supports Premill? Who told you that he doesn't consider those prophecies? Why won't you address the questions he asked in the...

The many errors and contradictions found in Amillennialism.

Oh, really? So, when scripture tells us that Jesus reigns at the right hand of the Father in heaven (Ephesians 1:19-23), we should not believe that? This is yet another ridiculous argument that you make. That is written in the future tense because it hasn't happened yet. Hello? It does not mean...

Surely Premils must invent 2 future glorifications days and 2 future raptures separated by 1000 years+?

It's incredible how every Premil without exception avoids specifically addressing our points. I wonder why that is? Could it be because they can't refute our points? I believe so.

Jesus answered, “My kingdom is not of this world. If My kingdom were of this world, My servants would fight, so a 1000 yr reign on this earth is false

That would require a lot of effort on my part to explain that to you. Tell me what you do know about Amillennialism and then I'll add more detail instead of taking time telling you things that you already know.

Jesus answered, “My kingdom is not of this world. If My kingdom were of this world, My servants would fight, so a 1000 yr reign on this earth is false

You said "the world to come is the new heavens and earth". The world to come will come when Jesus comes because the end of the world/age is when He comes (Matthew 24:3). So, if you say "the world to come is the new heavens and earth" that means you're saying that the new heavens and new earth...

The many errors and contradictions found in Amillennialism.

You can live (ZAO) even while physically dead, as we can see here: Revelation 6:9 When he opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of those who had been slain because of the word of God and the testimony they had maintained. 10 They called out in a loud voice, “How long, Sovereign...

Jesus answered, “My kingdom is not of this world. If My kingdom were of this world, My servants would fight, so a 1000 yr reign on this earth is false

LOL. Of course I would not deny the thousand years that is explicitly mentioned in Revelation 20, but I don't see it as referring to a literal thousand year time period after Christ's return. I believe it is a figurative term referring to the time when Jesus began to reign after His...

Jesus answered, “My kingdom is not of this world. If My kingdom were of this world, My servants would fight, so a 1000 yr reign on this earth is false

Yeah, you definitely didn't make that clear. Good to know that is what you believe. So, are you an Amillennialist then? Can you tell me your understanding of what the new heavens and new earth will be like? Do you agree with Revelation 21:4 which says there will be no more death, crying, sorrow...

Surely Premils must invent 2 future glorifications days and 2 future raptures separated by 1000 years+?

I have a couple more questions for you. Do you have those mortals who embrace the ways of God and believe in Jesus inheriting the kingdom of God during that time? How do any mortals survive Armageddon in light of what it says here: Revelation 19:15 Coming out of his mouth is a sharp sword...

Surely Premils must invent 2 future glorifications days and 2 future raptures separated by 1000 years+?

Notice here that this is all related to "the last days". Scripture says the last days is the time period between the first coming and the second coming of Christ, so why do you try to apply this passage to a time after His return? Acts 2:15 These people are not drunk, as you suppose. It’s only...

Jesus answered, “My kingdom is not of this world. If My kingdom were of this world, My servants would fight, so a 1000 yr reign on this earth is false

Did you even read what I said? What more can I do to explain what being "of this world" means? What do you think it means to be "of this world", keeping in mind that while He was on the earth Jesus said He and His followers are not of this world (John 17:21-24)?

Jesus answered, “My kingdom is not of this world. If My kingdom were of this world, My servants would fight, so a 1000 yr reign on this earth is false

But, you are saying the thousand years is the age to come. No, it is not because there will be no death in the age to come according to Jesus (Luke 20:34-36). Are you familiar with Amillennialism and Premillennialism? You are a Premillennialist and I am an Amillennialist who disagrees with that...

Jesus answered, “My kingdom is not of this world. If My kingdom were of this world, My servants would fight, so a 1000 yr reign on this earth is false

Do you have eyes to see that a kingdom of this world would mean a kingdom that is evil and worldly rather than righteous and heavenly? You need to think about what it means to be of this world. It doesn't mean to be on this earth or to be earthly. You know that Jesus said He and His followers...

Jesus answered, “My kingdom is not of this world. If My kingdom were of this world, My servants would fight, so a 1000 yr reign on this earth is false

So? I showed that even in that version of Psalm 2, it doesn't mean what you think it means. You have Jesus correcting heathen, when in reality He only corrects His own people. He disciplines those He loves (Revelation 3:19). You said that Psalm 2:9 is explained in the verses which follow it...

    Zechariah 5 is imminent

Here's something we can agree on. That is not true at all. I'm not a preterist. Misrepresenting my beliefs does nothing but make you look ignorant. My focus as it relates to Bible prophecy relating to today is on spiritual things like a mass falling away from the faith and increased...

Jesus answered, “My kingdom is not of this world. If My kingdom were of this world, My servants would fight, so a 1000 yr reign on this earth is false

No, it doesn't help at all. You seem to not be accepting what Jesus taught in Luke 20:34-36 which is that there will be no death in the age to come. The age to come is the age of the eternal new heavens and new earth.
