What does Acts 17 say? God couldn't put us on a nice new planet with no satan? Or do we need the bad to see the good? So do you beat up your dog every now and then so he could appreciate when you don't? There's no answer M.

Agreed. He that DOETH the will of the Father Abideth forever. I hope you realize that this means that IF YOU DO THE WILL of the Father.... THEN you abide forever. And re 1 John 3:6 we know it means that if we abide in Him we will not live a life of sin. Oh JBF,,,you're a smart guy. You know...

I gave you a like because we each need to come to grips with suffering in our own way. I do believe that we don't know why God has put us in satan's territory. We'll have to wait to find out.

When did I ever say works save a person? Ephesians 2:8-9 says the same in any version of the bible. John 3:16 says the same in any bible. I agree that faith keeps us saved. What does faith make us to? Faith without works is a DEAD faith, of no use to anybody. If we do not do good deeds...

Just looked at it. Wow. This is why I say we need to understand the culture and language of that day. Do we realize the O.T. was written about 3,000 years ago. Sometimes I think we lose sight of this. I usually don't even post verses from it.

Have you ever used the YLT? Youngs LITERAL translation. It makes one wonder how the bible was able to be translated at all. This is why I like to go with a general view and not hang on to every word, or even sentence. And from what are we working? Original manuscripts? I don't thiiiiiink so.

Where are you getting the Hebrew from??

See bb. It's better not to know the rules. !!

When a man's ways are pleasing to the Lord, The Lord makes even the man's enemies be at peace with the man.

What's false? You're going to teach me about the Trinity? :)

No I don't actually. What does it say? Does it say Jesus is FROM GOD, or does it say Jesus IS GOD? If someone is trusting JESUS, they will be saved...whether their doctrine is correct or not. I'm a Trinitarian and I know that it's necessary to believe that Jesus is God otherwise we're all...

Let me say this: I agree with you that the KJV is difficult to understand. To me, a charger is a car. I'm living NOW, not 400 years ago. Language needs to be updated. Nobody I know speaks like Shakespeare used to.

Nothing may ever happen again. You've acted correctly and should just continue to do so. If there's a different supervisor, always look for the other one. If there is not, and this happens again, your only alternative is to change supermarkets. I h ad to do this once because the manager was...

Jesus taught us not to worship man. He taught the Apostles to be disciples... Jesus main reason for being here was to establish God's Kingdom right here on earth...He hoped to be able to change the world by changing us. From the beginning of time God Father knew that man would sin in the Garden...

Hi AD,,,, Let me ask you something: What saves you: Your theology or Your faith in Jesus? I can't agree with what I highlighted in your statement above. IOW, If someone is trusting in Jesus, and he is a JW,,,are they lost?

Hammster, or any other forum, does NOT correctly BAN because one does not believe JESUS is God. What they could get banned for is promoting the idea that Jesus is not God. If they are truly seeking...where SHOULD they go? A christian conversation is good. Some forums have unorthodox...

What exactly does it mean to put my faith in Jesus Christ alone? Does it mean I should give up doing good deeds because then the Holy Spirit will likely leave me if I DO the good deeds? And God looks into the future and acts accordingly? He doesn't go moment by moment? Do you realize the...

Yes...in fact Paul told them he was going to introduce them to the unknown God. Acts 17:22-29 The place where he preached to them is visible when looking down from the Acropolice. The place was called Agora' and is a specific place (which I can't find online images) where people gathered...

This is a plate: This is a platter: This is the end of poor John: And this is a charger: End of story!
