    Yes, my on-topic post.

Then stop veering off the path. It was you who veered off topic to ask questions about things that are on topic. If you don't like it out here in the weeds, it's your own doing.

Rapture Top Dogs Admit no Proof Exists.

I have no argument. However, what I said is in complete harmony and agreement with: "But the hour is coming, and now is, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth;" John 4:23

Why do you believe the Bible is 100% inspired?

Why do you expect a consensus? We are one body, but many [different] members, each rightly having its own unique perspective. (See this site for evidence.) The squabbling is not evidence of division, but rather a lack of faith...as if a knee should not believe what the eye reports of the road...

Rapture Top Dogs Admit no Proof Exists.

The risk is to begin to expect and to look for signs (in the world), which is the practice of an evil generation. Better to look within, to seek Him in spirit.

Why then, would you look in the wrong place? If He is not in the desert or the inner rooms, what do you hope to see?

Rapture Top Dogs Admit no Proof Exists.

To speculate when the so called "rapture" takes place, one might just as well ask or guess, "What time is it?" The problem is...the very nature of such a question or speculation, is ungodly. God doesn't exist within the hands of time, He simply is ("I am"). Thus, the entire question or...

What Did Paul Mean By These Words?

    Fair enough. What specific teachings?

    A Witch Hunt Exposed?

Yes, and they are so devilishly crafty. Those same dumbed down people have also gained an air of would-be superiority in the process, without even knowing how they have become useful idiots for the machine, and propaganda lemmings lured into a type of slavery. I remember a family dinner early...

What Did Paul Mean By These Words?

I wouldn't think that "traditions of men" was a reference to "teachings" (of men) necessarily. However, the church has mostly leaned in that direction, i.e., feeding the poor, Christian life in the world, etc., rather than "seeking first the kingdom of heaven." Not that it is not the proper...

What Did Paul Mean By These Words?

Indeed. It is good to see it all from the proper perspective. When Paul wrote of such principles, the perspective was from being in the world, but with an effort to come out. What you have described above is from the perspective of having come out of the world, but being "alive and remaining" in...

What Did Paul Mean By These Words?

Laying up earthly treasures... Food... Clothing... The [natural] body... Your own will... The approval of men... Signs...

What Did Paul Mean By These Words?

Paul was referring to the principles of the flesh and of the world, repeatedly, because it was time to "press on" unto the "perfection" of the spirit of God. Jesus had preached to "think not of" the life we have in this world. Paul "followed" Him. Unfortunately, the church as a whole has done...

What Did Paul Mean By These Words?

Jesus was the apex of God's salvation plans, the man of Revelations with "one foot on the land and one on the sea", meaning one foot in the natural or in the world, and the other in the spirit. But it was Paul who was primarily commissioned to usher in the age of spirit of God being poured out...

    POLL: Was Jesus PERFECT?

Sorry can't vote - got to explain: "Was" (Jesus perfect) is the defining word. Yes, He was if we go back before the foundation of the world, or after the cross. But No, between that time when He "lowered" himself...but even then it was accounted to Him as perfect, for He did no sin.

    A Witch Hunt Exposed?

The last generation raised a lot of spoiled brats. This is them in society as government, media, and all walks of life. They now need what they needed then and didn't get.

I guess MaterHoss must just be a 1-post-wonder, a drive-by, never to return.

Why do you believe the Bible is 100% inspired?

In spite of the differences and the squabbling, the advantage of a true Christian society, is that of the end result. In the end, it is better to have been hanging on to the truth with one little finger, than not at all or being completely off the mark. Whether it be pushing up daisies or...
