Then don’t watch it! The Chosen is entertainment that has brought the Gospel to millions and many to the real Jesus. Don’t be an obstacle of how others bring people to Christ. Woe to you, you teachers of the law and Pharisees. There is such a gulf between what you say and what you do. You...

Mindlessly going with the masses. When the majority is going one way, that’s a sure sign that is usually the wrong way.

If that is your standard, by all means, avoid watching the most popular multi-season show about Jesus of all time. IMO, your standard is most. No biography only includes confirmed words of the subject. As I said, it is entertainment. And it points to Jesus.

YAWN. Nonsense.

Correct. Most of the show is tangential to Biblical events. A fictional - but feasible - back story BETWEEN verses. For instance, remember in Luke 4 where Jesus reads from Isaiah 61 and says it been fulfilled in their hearing? In S3E3 before he says this Jesus plays catch with his good...

BTW, growing up Catholic it was explained why our society has 2 day weekends. Saturday, to keep the Sabbath holy. Sunday, to celebrate the Lord’s Day. Odd for me to read so much divisiveness about this on our forum.

Neither do I. Honestly, I am bewildered at how such things - void of actual Scriptural teaching - in Christianity generate such passion.

Did you ever hear that the term ‘conspiracy theory’ came from the CIA in the 1950’s to dismiss those who observed their mischievous actions in foreign countries? It really is slander, a type of Appeal to Ad Homenim - AS IF the object of discussion is beyond disrepute, dismissing all criticism...

My point stands. I’m not talking about any particular religion. Ethics is what religion and politics have in common. Fact.

Great! Good to hear. Did you ever read the producers advise people to read the actual Gospel?

False Alternative. It is not inaccurate on what matters.

Again You cannot answer a question with a question.

Oh boy! It’s entertainment!! Did you find the scene entertaining?

Not exactly on point but still a powerful vid on Jesus claiming to be the law of Moses.

Who's making that statement? Check out https://www.ligonier.org/learn/qas/is-it-true-that-god-loves-the-sinner-but-hates-the-sin

I deny your claim. Notice how there is not one Scripture in the OP? I personally hear X is the Y all the time. It's just hype. What are the theological and political implications associated with the concept of ”the new Moses?” I do have an issue whenever the Law of Identity is violated. A is...

You, fellow "Christian," don't respond all the time but invoke a variant of the 3 bullet points, false categorizing our love for sexual sinners as hate.

Sure you do. It would be less work to answer "yes" or "no" to the yes/no question. o_O Then how do you do?

Do you find these verses a compelling reason to change the Sabbath day from the 7th day of the week to the 1st day of the week?
