Apostle Paul used the concept of running a race about striving for the mastery per 1 Cor.9. As long as the race is still going on, the prize is not yet won. He used that race idea as an analogy for this present time of striving to follow Christ, being temperate in all things. That race isn't...

The Job 34 idea is of flesh ending, not one's spirit. Jesus showed in Matt.10:28 that one's soul does not die with flesh death. Apostle Paul showed the same in 2 Cor.5 and 1 Cor.15, as Solomon also did in Eccl.12:5-7. Eccl 3:21 21 Who knoweth the spirit of man that goeth upward, and the...

Not bad. :) Ecclesiastes 12:5-7 is also an important Scripture for understanding those distinctions. The "breath of life" is in connection with our soul and spirit which God put into Adam. It is also what He put into each one of us born in this flesh. The Eccl.12 Scripture gives another point...

One has to get past what a lot of men's traditions think and say about God's law in order to understand Paul's meaning that God's law is established through Christ Jesus. God's laws are Eternal. He established them with His creation. So in that sense, it's about an eternal idea, because the...

It is common for Jews to naturally want to be Legalists in their thinking. But that kind of thinking often violates Christ's Salvation through Faith alone. We as Christians are to have 'works' in Him, but we are not saved by those works. We are saved by the blood of our Lord and Saviour Jesus...

From The American Conservative - http://www.theamericanconservative.com/articles/is-secession-legal/ During the Philadelphia Convention of 1787, Gouverneur Morris of Pennsylvania outlined “the distinction between a federal and a national supreme government; the former being a mere compact...

Dragonfly, Yeah, I saw your quote of Isaiah 59:20 after I did my post. Glad you're on the ball. JB, Dragonfly, Don't let those like Retrobyter fool you. There's been just as many devout orthodox Jews that have persecuted their own, and Christianity as there have been so-called Christians...

I have several friends that Messianic Jews, and they are not nearly as strongly influenced by Jewish religious traditions that you are. Those traditions I speak negatively about involve ideas I've already been over that really are part of the Jew's relgiion Judaism, and not Christianity. Many...

Possibly. It's mainly about the city of Jerusalem though in association with God's people... Isa 66:6-12 6 A voice of noise from the city, a voice from the temple, a voice of the LORD that rendereth recompence to his enemies. 7 Before she travailed, she brought forth; before her pain...

boy, now that's a crock. The Writer of Revelation was The LORD Himself. He gave His Apostle John what to write down. It's the pagan gnostics that believe Revelation was just some writing devised by men. Lot of them don't even believe Apostle John wrote it. Brethren in Christ: Don't listen to...

The answer is no, because the endtime Babylon's desctruction comes in one hour when Jesus returns. The 7th Trumpet and 7th Vial marks the time of Jesus' return.

Possibly, they will have God's sealing mark, The Holy Spirit. But at what stage in the end time events would they be sealed by God, because Zechariah 14 is about the day of Christ's return and thereafter? Remember Revelation 7.

I've been in battle against God's enemies for a long time now. No reason to be scared, The LORD is with me. Then you've made a reversal about that Joel prophecy, because that's not what you said in other threads about it. It's culmination is about the very end of this world, which is why it is...

Hard to believe that heeding the traditions of the Jews clouds understanding in God's Word, especially when it comes to the New Covenant through Yeshua Messiah Jesus Christ. That's our Heavenly Father doing that by the way (2 Cor.3). In this thread you have really revealed how you are still...

You're correct as far as 'how' those ascended from Darby's ideas are wrong about the idea of dispensations in God's Word, yet the idea of dispensations is a Biblical doctrine from Apostle Paul, just not the same meaning as what modern Dispensationalists claim. Any idea that Israelites could be...

The ONLY ones saved at Christ's coming, meaning in the resurrection putting on immortality sense, are His elect priests and kings that reign with Him. Does that mean He is going to destroy everyone else at that time? God forbid, no! Some here apparently totally disregard Bible Scripture about...

North Korea is a real threat. The reason is because of how deceived into worship of their leader the North Korean people have slumped into. We know Communist Socialism doesn't work economically; North Korea is in bad shape. Its Communist leadership has to be looking to the north at Red China's...

Those who don't understand how... the U.S. crime rate figures can be now lower haven't understood what's been going on in their own country vs. those other countries like Britain and Australia. Several years ago the governments in Britain and Australia asked the people to turn in their guns. The...

With warning lists like that adding fundamental Christianity and orthodox Jews to the real radical threats of Islamic factions and the KKK, it should be pretty easy to fathom just where such a list is coming from. A police chief in Kansas received such a propaganda list from home land security...

I think the see-saw has tilted against your favor Arnie. You need to get back to reality in God's Word and study.
