No offense taken. I tend to get passionate about my belief in totally guilty of it. Because I desire for the revelation to be as it is. With people on the outside and people on the inside all in spiritual bodies given by God. And desire to have to love for the lost and hope to help them after...

Remember this I don’t hold on to the traditional sense of what has been handed down by the church through the generation ; like Jesus coming back; or that we are in the last days, Those are things that were to come in that generation @stunnedbygrace so you’ll have to be very clear to me what it...

You will have to me more specific. Otherwise your words are misunderstood. Definition of nihilism 1a: a viewpoint that traditional values and beliefs are unfounded and that existence is senseless and uselessNihilism is a condition in which all ultimate values lose their value.— Ronald H...

My friend that is a lot of information; It is all conjecture as well from your belief system you have in your own mind which all people have. It’s a challenge to wrestle around with God on these things. As Charity mentioned that verse and it got me thinking but I didn’t understand it. In the...

You are right faith without works is dead @theefaith. Faith produces love which is a by product of faith in Christ.

@charity am headed to work; but sitting here thinking about the soul sinneth scripture. Jesus paid for sin. God through Christ redeemed all souls back to himself now at this point in time. Some don’t have faith some do. Thank you bringing that scripture to me and letting me think about it...

You guys may believe what you desire, I believe the Bible expresses Gods will for all people to come to the knowledge of truth in His son Jesus Christ. The Bible expresses this maybe some needed to be reminded about it. “Therefore I exhort first of all that supplications, prayers...

Human spirit ; soul same thing to me my brother. God created us in his image he gave us the human spirit - soul - mind, will, emotion we have the same characteristics that God has which God has his own mind, his own will, and his own emotions (jealously). Here is what I’ll stand on my friends...

I believe that is the the soul is much more, @quietthinker you know some people in this world look at others and think they don’t matter… to me that is looking at Gods creation which inside of them is the soul given by God or the human spirit that is always needing help from God. It’s like...

I believe what God gives always have some type of substance, friend. Believe how you will. Thank you for your time and consideration, With love, Matthew G.

It would be if it is extracted from the body; @charity. It would be disembodied friend.

Kind of depressing to think that our soul dies. Cheers

Why does it seem like this disembodied spirit in Sheol seem to be alive? Remember the separation of Abraham and the rich man?

Why give us a soul if it’s just going to die, I don’t understand that. Is it the mind, will, and emotion that dies? Is it the body that dies?

Interesting but still don’t understand it. Where are all the spirit of life’s going back to God going? To heaven? What about the faithless?

Found this information on the internet called soul sleep, so maybe some people simply believe in it. I personally however do not, thank you for sharing @charity. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Christian_mortalism

Hello Charity, I don’t under this whole the soul is not immortal teaching. Wouldn’t the spirit be the soul that is give if God knitted is in the womb? I’m not so sure, because I believe personally for myself along with all other people when they die that mind(heart)/will/emotion of the person is...
