And is this not where Jesus is? "If I say, Surely the darkness shall cover me; even the night shall be light about me. Yea, the darkness hideth not from thee; but the night shineth as the day: the darkness and the light are both alike to thee." Psalm 139:11-12 And this would be where the...

It is a play on words!

"But when he saw many of the Pharisees and Sadducees come to his baptism, he said unto them, O generation of vipers, who hath warned you to flee from the wrath to come? Bring forth therefore fruits meet for repentance: And think not to say within yourselves, We have Abraham to our father: for...

LOL :p:D:)

Indeed, let us pray for them! When our dear missing @Helen returns, she can tell something personal about this as she had family recently working as missionaries in China. Hopefully she will provide the details!

Worms: Are they man's soul or man's destroyer.. that is the ones that actually consume the flesh in the grave? "And they shall go forth, and look upon the carcases of the men that have transgressed against me: for their worm shall not die, neither shall their fire be quenched; and they shall...

For the moment there are people with death still in them walking around, but striving for more of Life and an end to any death. This is the struggle that goes on now in each one who has met Jesus but has not yet overcome all that He overcame: "From whence come wars and fightings among you? come...

"For the living know that they shall die: but the dead know not any thing, neither have they any more a reward; for the memory of them is forgotten." Ecc 9:5

Yes, they burn away all that is not worth saving! Will there be any, who in the end of the matter, have nothing at all, in the eyes of God, worth saving? Too bad our @Helen is not here to respond to this. A little touch [or more than a little?] of universalism? No, I am not a universalist!

Indeed the failure to surrender completely is perhaps one of our greatest failures. What is comes down to is that we cannot do even that all alone. We need to also ask for His help to surrender more completely and continue ask as long as we realize we are not quite doing as we should: "Ask, and...

Keep on striving!

Just like a naturally child begins immediately to partake of the necessities of his life and soon to work other things essential to maturity so must we. Failure to partake for the natural or spiritual child will stunt their growth or cause their death [physical or spiritual] We are partake of...

Thanks! I read the article you linked to his writing. I have similar understandings and writings on my computer from many years ago. Annihilation for me filled in some of the blanks or question marks in my understanding of God and His Way according to scripture. Is it at an AT for me? Some of...

So many questions and answers? This is what I see at the moment, but it may be different tomorrow... Who or what is hated by God? In the end of a man that which is loved continues, if there is anything. What happens to that which is hated? It is burned up. Correct answers? Are they needed? On...

So then you have decided. I continue to disagree while you simply ignore the conflict your position causes as to who God is! Perhaps you are OK with that. I cannot be and unless you are able to clarify it in some way, I guess we are finished here. Thank you for the discussion.

About you I am implying nothing. I simply disagree with you on the point I mentioned. Have a nice day and may God bless you!

Well I have answered your questions with scriptures. There a many more scriptures but I won't try any more. I thought I said that before but I was drawn back in... I am tired and I cannot convince you. To draw your conclusions, I believe that you have had to set aside or change the meaning of...

While people should not, they do follow the pattern of the children of Israel in the wilderness. Every day and every time that they recognized they had broken one of the laws, which God gave to Moses, they had to go the priest with their sacrifice so that atonement could be made. They would do...
