"But he answered and said unto them, An evil and adulterous generation seeketh after a sign; and there shall no sign be given to it, but the sign of the prophet Jonas: For as Jonas was three days and three nights in the whale's belly; so shall the Son of man be three days and three nights in...

People who believe they cannot lose their salvation or that once they have received the Holy Spirit they are guaranteed unending Life, should read with understanding about King Saul, who was anointed by Samuel as was David. One of the best studies to show us what kind of a road people who have...

I remember many years ago when I first encountered that story how difficult it was hard me to understand why David would not kill the man. God had already rejected him as king. I had a lot to learn about friends and enemies. [ I sometimes still do.] I used to draw lines in my mind with regard to...

It can be a slippery slope according to where our hearts are the moment. It is really important to stay clearly on the Lord's side when things are going well. We should not be waiting until catastrophe hits us to reach out to God. Especially when we are young in the Lord we may get away with...

I have never made a specific study on it like that, although I have gone into the left hand of God to a certain extent. It would be easy to see where the Israelites in disobedience were put down and then brought back up. A short place to go through looking for examples would be in the book of...

I believe that I am with you on this. It is what has been called by some the "left hand of God". Remember that the goats are on the Left and the sheep are on the Right. Here we see the end result for each: "Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father...

I said nothing about salvation.

Weight? Since when is it my job to judge another man's testimony? If sometimes I might doubt someone's testimony, shouldn't I really want to keep my mouth shut rather than to judge when it is not my place to judge? "Judge not, that ye be not judged. For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be...

I was in Oneness Jesus Only groups for 11 years. From what I learned there I was already very skeptical of Trinitarians, but by the time I left the last UPC connection in 1987, I was similarly skeptical of Oneness as they believed it, and really overdue to come out of there. I don't press people...

I guess God wanted me to see this. There are so many threads and posts these days, I skim through them reading sometimes only the OP and many times only the first line of the OP... especially if it is long and/or complex. I gave you a 'like' for your apparent honesty on this issue, but I also...

Thank you I had read your testimony as posted previously. My point was that our testimony at this moment is very important. Yesterday is gone no matter how good it may have been before God and tomorrow we may never see in this flesh. Today is the day that we have in which to work the work of God...

Maybe! In a real situation there is always a, yea, or a , nay, but I would go slow with regard to a hypothetical one.

Does not the reason why we asked God for an interpretation also matter?
