Every Believer Must Do Good Works and Proclaim the Gospel, Some Are Called to Teach

@101G Thank you for your kind and gracious post brother. I guess he got the better of me  ...I was so annoyed to see him call you a knitwit , knowing how gracious a man that you are. Name calling is uncalled for. I honestly don't mind discussions that disagree, if they are done in a...

So what do you think the New Jerusalem is? A literal city!! Rev 21:2 "And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband." Bride, church, overcomer's, ...His people.... If you take the measurements mentioned you...

    The Bride

"That I may know Him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, being made conformable unto his death;.... Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things...

Did God Need Jesus' Sacrifice to Make You Acceptable to Him?

True. God set His plan in motion already knowing man would fail. That is why " The Lamb was slain before the foundation of the world." He didn't "need" a sacrifice, He already knew by LOVE what the sacrifice would be...Himself. That is how much He loved us, even when we were all still in Him...

Exposing lies of all denominations, Pope Francis. Who is Mary? First of many threads!

Good point...which I have often pondered myself. I being one who has separated from the organized church 20 years ago, after 30 years in the system. Agree some was wonderful and life giving and they flowed as Paul taught. "Every joint supplying" one had a song, hymn, tongue, prophesy...

Every Believer Must Do Good Works and Proclaim the Gospel, Some Are Called to Teach

No I sadly agree it is not "nice".....and I am always annoyed at myself when I allow someone to get under my skin ....but then again, I have tried before to show him that people will listen to him more, if he is polite and doesn't call them names....... 'you' have only been here for 'five...

Every Believer Must Do Good Works and Proclaim the Gospel, Some Are Called to Teach

Welcome to the site. Very sorry that you are reading this thread. This thread is not typical of all threads. Some people show more love and grace for their fellow believers than "christiang" does. I am just glad he uses a small 'c' in his avatar name...because he shows himself far from...

Every Believer Must Do Good Works and Proclaim the Gospel, Some Are Called to Teach

I am becoming amazed that anyone bother to answer you any more. You cannot answer civilly , you are rude and arrogant...you call people degrading names. bbyrd009 you have called an idiot twice, @101G you have called a knitwit..and others too. You are trying to be so positive in what you (...

I find that so many people take these things so literally. Some things are both literal and spiritual. Other things are spiritual and written to us as "pictures" so we 'get the picture'.

Amen, well said. But those who don't want to hear it just wont hear it. They would rather labour under the weight of works.

"Hallowed be thy Name!" - WHAT name?

Dear man. I have to agree with Richard, all you ever do is sidestep any real question that is asked of you. It seems in reading all your posts in every thread...that the only drum you have to beat is you continual harang about anything church. You have become like a bleating sheep...you can...

The Law of Moses Has Not Been Abolished

Goodness...you poor deluded man..what a BURDEN YOU carry!! You must, you must, you must, ...and there I was...believing that everything is about HIM , not about us!!! So, like I have said before....you are still totally chained by the law. Well , I hope YOU can get the job done bless...

What's the Weather Like in your part of the world Right Now?

Job...no power walking here....it thawed ( to ice) and then snowed about a foot on top of that! It is treacherous underfoot here...no power walking...more like tiptoeing through the daisies. LOL

There is almost zero in here that looks anything like Christ

Yes agree. Jesus tells us to love one another, encourage one another...support one another. For some warped reason Sword obviously believes that it is his calling in life to harass and berate his fellow Christians...he has said before...he does it because he loves us. It does make one...

What's the Weather Like in your part of the world Right Now?

Well, I don't want it to be "let snow"...:D We are all hoping for a very brown Christmas....not a white one. But, unless it warms up a bit, the snow will be going nowhere...until April :(
