    Can You Be Righteous

Au contraire mon frere! We are declared righteous by doing righteousness. Grace is a means of doing. So we must not be only hearers but doers. Jesus said...He who hears my words and DOES them is like a man who built on a rock.

John Wesley on the modern gospel

At the risk of using a religious sounding cliché...yeppurs!

    A Common Error

    Well said!!!! :)

    Sinless Perfection?

You have uncovered my average-ness I fear. I see no duality of natures in one who is given a new heart.

    Jesus was wrong

It all depends on the heart. If the heart is easily attached to the things of this world then in God's mercy may He make the sweetness taste sour to us. It is akin to if your right eye causes you to sin...pluck it out!!! Amen Axe!

    Sinless Perfection?

    This contradicts your previous posts.

    The hidden things of God

Actually it is the same wedding but different participants...Go out into the highways and byways. Your error lies in the distinction you make between humans. God is the God of all flesh...there is only one Lord, one faith and one baptism (Spirit). So we are all One new man together in Christ...

    Jesus was wrong

It is the mercy of God that we lose the pleasure of life so that we can turn more fully to Him. The lust and pleasures of this world are quickly fading. Even so Come Lord Jesus!

    Sinless Perfection?

Cliff I cannot subscribe whatsoever to a scheme that makes a Christian a friendly enemy of God.

    The hidden things of God

I think it is safe to assume that most Christians DO want to be in the bride of Christ. Maybe that is why so few will seek to avoid the gospel of the kingdom as you do.

    Righteousness

Because there is no good unless God says it's good. God doesn't follow laws...The laws follow God. The fact that God doesn't change is what makes a law a law. He decides a planet will have gravity...and that becomes the law. He decides we can't eat from a certain tree and that becomes law...

    A Common Error

The title of this thread is very ironic! ;)

    Sinless Perfection?

You are practicing hiding behind verses to not listen to what I have said. Maybe others will get something from it.

    A Common Error

Richard speaks death. Joh_6:63 It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life.

    The hidden things of God

No one is being forced into the Jewish kingdom, nor the Jewish bride of Christ , nor the Jewish city of New Jerusalem.

    The Gospel of Grace:

Quote from William Booth (founder of the Salvation army) over 100 years ago "The chief danger of the 20th century will be: religion without the Holy Ghost, Christianity without Christ, forgiveness without repentance, salvation without regeneration, heaven without hell."

    Sinless Perfection?

Death means separation. If we sin we breach fellowship with God. We can repent and turn back to God. We can sin sins that are not according to death. John states this. But all sins are one step closer to death if not outright death. Sins cause us to drop back. This means we are following Christ...
  19. Episkopos

    Sinless Perfection?

So you operate in 2 different natures and are a friend and alien to God. You know God in total ignorance to God. You operate in unbelief through faith. So you can have a really good time...enjoying the world AND the kingdom!!!!

    Righteousness

This answer is easy because nothing has changed ever concerning righteousness. A smile :) has always been a smile :) And a selfless act continues to be a selfless act. God has chosen to have mercy on us Christians...and given us a deposit to work with till He returns. In this way we become...
