I don't know about "this poster". He has some strange ideas and I am uncertain what his purpose here is... On the question of 66 or other number I have at least three hard bound Bibles containing what some have named the apocrypha [deuterocanonical] ... the Douay Rheims, the Kings James [1611...

We just passed 48 and fully intend to make the 50 together. We also decided jokingly that we would die together so that neither of us would have to go on alone. Of course, we have not real control on that. It is hard for me imagine living alone without her. Both of our children and said...

Thanks for your kind reply! May God richly bless you and yours as you walk through this mess with Him!

For me for many years now God has been the most important thing in my life. This Covid-19 thing has not changed that. The personal attacks I frequently witness on this kind of thread is why I rarely involve myself in them. Sometimes I will scan through them to see the viewpoints presented...

@Holy999 Give God the glory!

@Holy999 Ask a Catholic and you will likely receive another answer. Ask God and what will He say?

Perhaps!

Yes, I do understand. When I was still working for a secular living part of my job was the translation of documents into English. We both speak English, but what was it Winston Churchill said about that? His emphasis I guess was on the difference between British and Americans, but understanding...

I simply talk with God and read my Bible these days. Your idea of trusting God does seem to be different than mine. I won't say yours is wrong, but I believe that mine is right. Is it possible that according to God we are both right? I believe so... but I won't get into that here and cause more...

A difficult call for your home. I am not certain I can help but I will try. First my situation: My wife and I both wear masks when we are out close to people. We are fully agreeable on that. At home it is only the two of us and no one, but one daughter an RN who works as a surgical nurse in...

You either failed to read or to understand what I wrote. We must be in different worlds. Carry on...

I guess that we are not communicating. Sorry!

Which translation did I use? What part of God's Word has the Spirit written on my heart? Does God depend on human translators or interpreters for that? I have read the KJV along with original Luther Bible and the Valera of 1569 along with other German and Spanish versions. If I had been limited...

Symbolic? Yes, really a type or shadow of the reality of which each of us may be a part. The Head is ready, but the Body, the place for Jesus to lay his Head is a work in progress. "For the LORD hath chosen Zion; he hath desired it for his habitation. This is my rest for ever: here will I...

Could it be this undefiled dove? "There are threescore queens, and fourscore concubines, and virgins without number. My dove, my undefiled is but one; she is the only one of her mother, she is the choice one of her that bare her. The daughters saw her, and blessed her; yea, the queens and the...

Do you presume that the best Greek/Aramaic and Hebrew scholars are always those closest to God? If that it is so that lets me and lots others out of it. I won't contend with you over the translation. I can only follow the lead of the Holy Spirit. Sometimes I may also miss it but if I do and...

Jesus would have worn a mask if it were mandated by secular law unless it went against his Father's will. That is the answer I see. If it were only recommended, I would seek God's answer for me. Will His answer for one always be precisely the same answer for everyone? I would be surprised if it...

And if for ever only lasts until the end of time? "And sware by him that liveth for ever and ever, who created heaven, and the things that therein are, and the earth, and the things that therein are, and the sea, and the things which are therein, that there should be time no longer:" Rev 10:6...

Give God the glory!

Especially if it lasts longer than hell!
