    Is Reincarnation baloney?

Great! There is no Lake of Fire for the damned, leading to second and permanent death. What verse says reincarnation is a thing? Fact is, neither the word nor the idea is in Scripture.

    Is Reincarnation baloney?

Says you. Many have already provided Biblical verses proving reincarnation is not Biblical, including me.

What are the main doctrinal differences between Jehovah's Witnesses and mainstream Christianity?

Agreed. This thread is misguided. It is not doctrinal differences, per se. Rather JW is a graceless group, which is why you sense the negativity all around. I would not go so far as to say they are demonic as @Stan B has but maybe in a binary world that is the more accurate assessment. Lacking...

    Is Reincarnation baloney?

Agreed. Our new friend has reincarnation as his doctrine and practices exegesis, imposing his doctrine onto text that is hostile to it. For instance, Scripture talks clearly about how Second Death is eternal, no recovery from. If reincarnation were a thing, the number of births and deaths...

    Is Reincarnation baloney?

No. I specifically refuted the list. Perhaps not every single one. However, acknowledge and respond to the analysis I provided and we can delve into it more deeply. Thanks!

    Is Reincarnation baloney?

There are no verses teaching reincarnation in the Bible. Playing word games with dying more than once side steps the point that we only die once before judgement - as a general rule. Sure, there are a couple of exceptions. But again, exceptions of a few being resurrected does not constitute...

    Is Reincarnation baloney?

You can say the Eastern tenet of reincarnation is irrelevant. But you cannot say that AND claim reincarnation is true and Biblical. It is anti-Biblical.

    Is Reincarnation baloney?

You claim that it is false. Numerous verses have already been provided that show reincarnation is not biblical.

    Is Reincarnation baloney?

You're an engineer, experiment. Well, who was your question directed to? If no one, that is who is likely to answer.

    Is Reincarnation baloney?

My question of you expecting less of yourself than others really has nothing to do with post #28, which is a question about the very subject of this thread as well as another thread that was closed. My question is about you, not all this other stuff.

    Is Reincarnation baloney?

I'm not dealing with assumptions but facts. Are you saying the fact of the matter is that you do not subscribe to reincarnation?

    Is Reincarnation baloney?

Again, the idea of receiving a new body - other than an eternal, glorified body.

    Is Reincarnation baloney?

This does not mean they reincarnate though, right?

    Is Reincarnation baloney?

True but irrelevant to the point of being reincarnated as another life form, such as a cat. And they were certainly not returned as a baby but the same stage of development they were before the resurrection into a normal body.

    Is Reincarnation baloney?

Oy vey! A pretty word game, there. The frame of reference of only dieing once is before Judgment to eternal consequences. This is to be contrasted with the Eastern tenet of endless carnations, not necessarily culminating in a final judgement of one's state of existence for eternity. The Second...

    Is Reincarnation baloney?

What do angels have to do with us being resurrected into a glorified body, which will not die?

    Is Reincarnation baloney?

Like @Ronald David Bruno citing a verse without acceptable explanation for you, here you offer no explanation. Does this mean you expect less of yourself than others? Of course, you disagree since you subscribe to the Eastern tenet of reincarnation. The point is on what basis do you disagree...

    Nothing much left to say

Who decides what washes clean, my friend? Surely not the one with a God complex, who deems himself in the position to judge his Creator. That doesn't wash!

    Nothing much left to say

It is a euphemism but for the long straw, meaning innocent, meaning not having to go down the path leading to death.
