Last time I checked Mary was human...born of humans...she had a sin nature...Jesus was born of Mary.

As I say..believe what you like...you obviously get your belief system via men. When the roll call is made up yonder...then we will each see. :D No sweat.

...Where on earth have you been.....( or not been) Having a sin nature ....NOWHERE does it say that it means 'we have sinned!!' Baby's are born with a sin nature...yet they have not sinned...too young, no opportunity!!

Amen.....That is one question that missed me in story :eek:...very good observation indeed. :) Another AMEN...excellent thoughts. THANK YOU....very good word. As my husband is prone to say..." That'll preach.." :) I have never heard it explained as clearly as that. Bless you...Helen...

@Angelina ....wow ..you actually made me cry listening to that...that took me back to about age 26..the old wild meeting when we'd wave out hats ( yes in those days.. 60's we were expected to wear hats :D ) We sung it a lot quicker than that back then...but thanks...it stired my heart once...

Okay, never mind...just one more thing that we disagree upon. I see no sense in what you believe. I will always believe the the Victory over the Devil was because Jesus Chose to limit Himself...He took upon Himself flesh..and if He had an advantage by being incapable of sin ..it nullifies any...

@BreadOfLife ....Nice to see you here again.

Bless you...that is a tough one. I would have to say that you have a real choice before you. If you have confidence that you could do it without 'looking over your shoulder' forever. You could take the big step of saying " Paternity or not, who cares...God has given me the parenthood of...

@jaybird Okay....whatever :)

Agree with others...the Tempter is evil...we could say the temptation itself is intended to be evil. But when we are tempted it is not evil...there can never be a victory without a test. From Eden there has always been a tester. God tells us what the Wilderness was all about...The Test...

Praise God!! Amen.

@jaybird I just posted about ACTS where Jesus calls Paul ..not good enough for you? :) I just said in my post #27....they were the 'changing of the guard'....followers in training...

As I said...Jesus was already preaching the change over....as it says clearly....John the Baptist was the last prophet of the OT. Jesus the beginning of the New. Sorry not quite following you ....do you mean Jesus didn't mention handpicking Paul, or what? If so... :- Acts 9:4 "And he fell to...

Peter was still preaching mixture..he was called to be a preacher of the NT yet he was not totally free yet in understanding ( who of us were when we had just got going!) He and Paul had a fight, remember? ( Gal 2:11-14 ) Paul rebuked him for continuing to required the gentiles to be...

Amazing what can be "proved" by scripture!! :D

I like that...but only quoted a little bit here. I always call it "the felt presence". Yes, we can say that God is all around us..and even Solomon knew that well...but.. there was a day when the temple building was complete and dedicated to God and the GLORY of God's presence filled the Temple...

Yes, I sure would like to...but you are too far away to bump you... lol

Then maybe we could muddle though it together ..all of us "together" may touch on the revelation of what is being said there, as well as the why's of it all....it sure is a strange and sad story... The miracle of the lion standing by at the end...is quite something too... But sorry @Stranger...

This game should be called tenacity...no one is a quitter.. LOL

Well you would be...if you really were.... :)
