@My Dreams Praying right now for your wife!

KJV, Reina-Valera 1960 [Spanish], Schlachter Übersetzung-Version 2000 [German] I would not call them my 'favorites' as I usually avoid that word with regard to scriptures, but they are the ones I read and study daily. In my regular reading I read the three equally. In any studying my primary one...

On this forum it is possible to delete your own posts. I would suggest deleting all of your bump posts except the last one. Then your purpose would be accomplished without having a whole bunch of intervening 'bump' posts which are confusing to someone who does not understand what you are doing.

Yes, God might laugh, but the one being laughed at needs to be able to see his own error. Can people knowing the scripture be so blind? Even one who was to be an Apostle! "And he was three days without sight, and neither did eat nor drink." Acts 9:9 And then how long before he wrote the...

Yes the necessary gifts have been given but when people quench the Holy Spirit of God they prevent or slow the coming of the unity. Oh, it will come but some who speak of being a part of it may well miss the boat because they follow their own head instead of the Head. Help us dear Lord!

I cannot disagree with you. God set up a perfect place back in Eden for men and we see the results to day even though He sent Jesus to allow men to come to Life again. That is the way of men and they have not changed for the most part. There are exceptions, those who really choose God and His...

My point it that only by knowing the man's heart could we fairly and correctly judge him. I believe this is the case with anyone. If a person is at the moment is in error on one or more points, is he forever lost? Consider King David who certainly was a polygamist, which certainly as I read the...

@historyb A long time ago when this forum was still only an idea in the originator's mind, he should have decided to not allow anyone to ask or to tell what their specific denomination, church or religion was by stating a name, such as Catholic, Southern Baptist, Jewish, Christadelphian, SDA...

Only when a person is hearing from God on every issue and obeying God on every issue, is the person always right. There may have been others, but the only one I know who has fills the bill exactly on this was Jesus. I can and must decide for myself which way to turn or to stop or to go...

When people read the Bible they do find verses within it that seemingly contradict each other. There are answers provided by various people as why this is so. God knows better than any of them. When they are in error are they better than Joseph Smith when he was in error? Joseph Smith is long...

Well I am glad for your sake you are so certain... if you really are. To me it appears to be a blanket condemnation against which we are warned in the scriptures. "He said unto them, An enemy hath done this. The servants said unto him, Wilt thou then that we go and gather them up? But he...

"He must increase, but I must decrease." John 3:30 God gives the increase!

Somebody undoubtedly would say the same thing about, Reformed, Baptists, Methodists, Catholics, Pentecostals, and about any other group we could name. Many or all of them may say they are being led by the Holy Spirit in spite diametrically opposed beliefs. Is your set of beliefs the best one...

Thank you but really unnecessary. My older brother was a Mormon until he wasn't. He gave me a Book of Mormon which contained also the Doctrine of Covenants and the Pearl Great Price back in 1971. At my brother's suggestion I went through their prepared study of the LDS and read through the book...

No, being nice doesn't prove they believe the truth. Neither does it prove they are completely wrong while we are completely right. Until we know all things like God who are we to condemn them? Simply because of a label without knowing a heart? We may also be wrong on some points. God is...

Like me you are asking questions to which God has not given me an answer; or if is He has I am keeping it to myself. :):D Give God the glory !

Steak!

I learned that song in the very first Pentecostal church of which I was a member [beginning in 1976]. It touched my heart then and I have never forgotten it. Forget about the points. It may not add up to much more than heart burn [pre-turkey or post-turkey]!
