@mjrhealth I remember a saying my old dad used all the time.."a man convinced against his will is of the same opinion still." You are banging your head against a wall. They all claim works...but none will say that they are perfect yet or becoming more righteous daily. To me..it is almost...

Amen..so what is the excuse of those who have walked long with the Lord and have STILL not seen the awesomeness of God's grace?

Any true believer would not ignore that fact..when we spend time before the Lord we can't but help reflecting Him. I agree with your opening few lines...Grace is not without accountability. I am sure, as you also move in the grace 'circle'...we've seen it taken advantage of. As in the...

Sorry my friend...Jesus is the fulfilling of the law...if you are 'in Him', you do that because He lives in you...not because you have to do it...

I don't really want to get sidetracked by that...there are too many of those threads going. :D

Thank you so much! Amen to that...I just wish that everyone could see it. I posted the thread because I got tired of seeing some people declaring that the law could be kept in our own strength and works. You said it MUCH clearer than I could say it....I know that I am a clunky writer! I...

Firstly thank you for replying. Well all I can say is that you seem very confused....out of one side of your mouth you say we must not sin...and out of the other you say that above. By that you are saying that you do not keep Gods law. The difference being between us...I know I am far from...

I am still not hearing anyone mention how well they are doing in perfection. How what you are doing is enough. What I am reading is the things that automatically come from within as kind acts = good works. What I am wishing to see are the people posting who keep insisting that believers MUST...

Oh, no need for that! You should have left it  I was just joking around....it took me a while to find it...by the time I did , and posted mine..I saw your was already there. and that scripture popped into my mind about the pool of Bethesda . Sorry about that.

Haha! And lo, While I was yet coming Pisteuo stepped into the water before me! LOL

Luke 19:13---- 13 And he called his ten servants, and delivered them ten pounds, and said unto them, Occupy till I come. 14 But his citizens hated him, and sent a message after him, saying, We will not have this man to reign over us. 15 And it came to pass, that when he was returned, having...

Oh another response and continually side stepping my questions. Answer them...tell us how it is DONE. How you do it..etc... You are like the Pharisees..you hang weights on believers, but you don't tell us HOW you get the job of law keeping done..or how perfect you are now since you first...

whatever you say ( and don't say!)

I know where Montana, Michigan..Organ, Washington, Idaho, California are..even been to Texas...but where is Minnesota? East, West, or in the middle? Alberta sits right above Montana...the boarder is 3 hours from here.

Thankfully our snow melted, now it is about 15C so not too bad...and we are lovig the sun. Hoping that we can get to the end of October before the 'real' weather starts. @Job do you get Chinooks there in winter? Thankfully we do in Calgary, from the mountains... it can be -22 and...

I enjoy reading this thread...but F2F if what you say is true...then how could 1/3 of them fall with the devil?

I play on my iPad..I do the Jewel game...but my most favourite game ever is the Bubble Breaker. I have a mac..it's a free game..5 stars. There are the original has 250 games...but each game takes ages to get all three stars....so every now and again I go back to my early games and try to get...

We know that we have had many threads on 'Law v Grace' and 'Faith v Works’ Including hundreds of posts on all of them. We basically all know now where each other stands on these issues as we have all ready the numerous posts. So here I just wish to ask in this Thread…not what you each...

Well said...but sadly probably very true...
