    A Common Error

    1. OK, but even today a Jew can accept Jesus as his savior. 2. I don't distinguish the difference. Maybe drawn is God's action, and opening the door is the sinner's action...As to part B...yes. 3. I don't think the sheep fold has an inner and outer...whatever it would be called. Yes...no. 2...

    Why Baptize a Baby?

I know that the OFFICIAL church teaching is that of the magesterum. As to the answer, I answered it fully in post no. 307. The answer has to be the cc or the protestant church. I don't have weird ideas as some do. If a verse is too difficult, I use commentaries and read a few. One verse I'm...

    Why Baptize a Baby?

No. I mean if a child dies that has not been baptized. IF they are imputed, or take on the responsibility of Adam, then they'd have to be lost... But since they DO NOT, then they would be saved even if they died (up until the age of reason).

    A Common Error

Do you call the dead in Christ the Jews and the Living in Christ the Gentiles or just those that believe in Him? You don't believe that ALL MEN are drawn by God? A sheep fold:

    Scripture Buddies

I've got plenty of testimonies. Whatever happens to me,,,I keep God near. I trust that He must be doing what's right for ME. I may be down, but I'm not out. I may be depressed, but I'm not despaired. I may be sad, but I'm always joyful to know God is in my life. Psalm 121 1I will lift up my...

    Has anyone seen Ralph?

I think I saw him in a really hot place... He got tired of those nasty clouds at the palace.

    Scripture Buddies

Isaiah 48:10 does not mean what you think it does. But it's still a beautiful verse. "I have TESTED thee in the furnace of affliction"...

    A Common Error

Please make clear for me: Is there only ONE fold, one flock, one shepherd? John 10:16 Did Jesus say to go to ALL nations and teach and baptize? Mathew 28:19-20 Did Jesus say He would draw all men to Him? John 12:32

    A Common Error

So the bible is split into two parts? For two different peoples? There are two Bodies, two Churches, two spirits...?? Please explain: 1 Corinthians 12:12-13 12For even as the body is one and yet has many members, and all the members of the body, though they are many, are one body, so also is...

    A Common Error

Paul preached the same message Jesus preached. He was a very intellectual person and was not easily understood. I do believe Peter made a comment about this... 2 Peter 3:16 If we study what Paul taught, it HAS to be the same as what Jesus taught. How could anyone think it's different. I do...

    Why Baptize a Baby?

You're calling it "similar quality"...I'm calling it the sin nature. In Catholicism it's called concupesence. Spelling might be wrong. It's the TENDENCY toward sin. It's the "leftover" of Adam's sin. We are not personally responsible for Adam's sin, but we suffer from its effects. I find...

    Why Baptize a Baby?

OK. Here's what I posted re John 3 and Romans 5: Romans 5 is referring to the change in our nature due to Adams fall,,,,it does not state we are personally responsible for his sin. This would not be justice from a just God. If we were imputed his sin, any child that died would go to hell...

    Why Baptize a Baby?

Being imputed with a sin and being responsible for it is the same thing. Thus your confusion.... Definition of impute transitive verb 1: to lay the responsibility or blame for (something) often falsely or unjustlyThe economic sins imputed to Tito had all been committed to a greater extent by...

    Angels

I didn't answer the poll, but I could only think of those three. Lucifer....satan Michael...The Warrior Gabriel....The Great Announcer P.S. Gabriel appeared to Daniel to explain dreams or visions he had. He appeared to Zacharias to tell him that Elizabeth would bear a child. He appeared to...

    Why Baptize a Baby?

This is what I said in post no. 180: Before Constantine, only those in a Christian household were baptized, including the children. This made some sense since people were very devoted at that time...whole families went to the lions, think of it. The chances were that if one grew up in a...

    Why Baptize a Baby?

At first I believed @BreadOfLife was a very frustrated Catholic, and he might have reason to be since many don't even believe they're Christian. But I see it goes beyond this. The posts are aggressive and hateful.
