    Why Baptize a Baby?

Thanks CI You've done @BreadOfLife s homework for him. I certainly hope he appreciates it and now understands what believe means.

    Why Baptize a Baby?

Sorry. You'll have to find different scripture to show One person that was baptized before believing. I've already used the above, Acts 8, the story of the Ethiopean, to prove he WAS saved. Study the verses.

    Why Baptize a Baby?

I also would like to hear Mary's response to your question .

    Why Baptize a Baby?

No. The demons do not believe as I do. Learn what believe meant at the time of the NT. It is Not "belief plus obedience". Belief Means obedience. I don't know if you're lying or just ignorant.

Maybe you should actually read my posts.

    Why Baptize a Baby?

Mary, I listed churches that DO baptize babies and it seems to me that they're in the majority. No one should have any problem with a baby being baptized. I DO believe that Jesus meant for adults who are believers and have been taught the good news are the ones who should receive baptism. I...

    Why Baptize a Baby?

This is incredibly intellectually dishonest of you. You know very well there are two types of "believe". One is only mental and one is of the heart,,,you yourself have explained this. @CoreIssue is correct about the Eheopian. He certainly was saved BEFORE he was baptized; as the following...

    Why Baptize a Baby?

Please post a verse showing that someone was baptized who did not believe. Everyone who went to John the Baptist WANTED to be a servant to God and wanted to be "saved".

    Why Baptize a Baby?

Hi CI, I hope someone answered this... Just saw it. Actually there is no such place as a limbo for infants. In fact, there's no such place as limbo. This is a myth that was believed by catholics, but which, unfortunately was never corrected by the CC and thus many believe this is Catholic...

    A Common Error

I've never understood your position very well.. But, are you saying that Paul taught differently than Jesus. And if so, are you saying that Paul's teachings are more relevant than Jesus'?

    Why Baptize a Baby?

Why do You believe anyone should be baptized? What about babies? Do you believe all of humanity is imputed with Adams sin?

    Why Baptize a Baby?

Hi Mary, I don't really know what you want me to show you. This is the point,,,,are we imputed with Adams sin? If Yes, then all babies should be baptized. If No, then it doesn't matter. I'm sure you know that the concept of original sin was conceived by Augustine. After this concept became...

    Books Outside the Bible

You couldn't have meant that billions were killed by the K of C. Some here stick to every word someone says and shows no mercy. Did you mean that millions have been killed by the cc? Please clarify and/or show support for your view with a link. Thanks.

    Books Outside the Bible

Hi BR Sorry,,,been busy. You've convinced me! I also can add that within 100 years the word exterminate came to mean,,,kill off. Which would fit in with your timing. I know the cc killed many,,,I just was saying that ex terminus meant banish in the language of Lateran IV. Thanks!

BAPTISM SAVES, FOR THE REMISSION OF SINS"

I can't think of any verse where Jesus says that our salvation depends on our being baptized. He DID say to be baptized in the name of the Trinity in Mathew 28...but in every other instance He said that our salvation was based on our works. Could you please post some verses where Jesus said we...

A word for the moderators of a different message board.

Why would a moderator delete any post that was in line with the TOS of that forum? I don't believe anybody on a forum should rebuke anybody. This is a discussion board...not a church where I go to for instruction. I DO hear the expression used that we "teach" here. This is not correct. One...

A word for the moderators of a different message board.

You have the right to your opinion. I'm not as legalistic as you are.... I also don't care to hear any prophetic words on a forum since I don't know the person speaking the words - I actually don't like prophetic sayings unless they are in a church setting and they can be biblically tested.

    IS JESUS' SACRIFICE ETERNAL?

Agreed. A diamond has no intrinsic value, but only the value placed on it by man. It's too bad we, as a human race, don't put more value on knowing the God that made us. Jesus said the gate is narrow leading to salvation...
