    How does God lead?

1948 is not personal. As to personal revelation,,,I believe God can speak to us personally...but it has to agree with scripture. And, it IS personal...IOW, not for everyone.

    Personal Revelation

Personal Revelation. Yes. It exists...I've experienced it and it worked. But, as I've said many times, our PERSONAL REVELATION is for us along and not to be shared on any forum and probably not with any other person, unless it could be discussed in a general way. God knows what will work for...

    How does God lead?

Right. This is the point @ScottA is not understanding or I'm not explaining it right. There is no new revelation after the N.T. and Jesus. IF there were, then we'd have to believe some of these dogmas since they're based on reason. Who knows what other stuff we'd have to believe. I agree...

    IS JESUS' SACRIFICE ETERNAL?

Hi E, thanks for posting this and the link. I read it...I liked the Hebrew verses very much...like these: Heb. 2:17; 3:1; 4:14; 8:1; 9:11,25; 10:19,22 – Jesus is repeatedly described as “High Priest.” But in order to be a priest, “it is necessary for [Jesus] to have something to offer.” Heb...

    How does God lead?

In 1854, the Pope at the time, declared by Papal bull, which means it became official Catholic dogma that was to be believed, that Mary was conceived immaculately. The Immaculate Conception. Why? Because if she was to be the mother of Jesus, and He had no sin,,,then SHE should have no sin...

    IS JESUS' SACRIFICE ETERNAL?

Understood. But it should properly reflect what the other member said... It just sounded like I was saying something I didn't say... Journalists do this too...

    How does God lead?

LOL You're making my point that we MUST depend on the written word!

    IS JESUS' SACRIFICE ETERNAL?

Right! It works both ways...from the foundation of the world TO ALL OF ETERNITY. Forever existing.... Whew! Thanks!

    How does God lead?

Scott, been too busy, I can't remember if I replied to this! So if it's not limited to the written word...let's do this: Let's agree that Mary was taken bodily into heaven... First because she wouldn't be the first one. Second because this was revealed to a church in 1854 and it makes sense...

    Pre-Trib Rapture is Dead!!!

No Taken...Just because Jesus doesn't hit dirt, doesn't mean He didn't "come back". If He left heaven,,,no matter WHERE He stops on His way here,,,He's still coming back. Acts 1:11 speaks to this. Jesus will come back the same way He left...IN THE CLOUDS... One time. Please post scripture...

    IS JESUS' SACRIFICE ETERNAL?

Your reply is exactly what I'm talking about. Not knowing physics, this becomes difficult to explain...but; Since God is outside time,,,His sacrifice LIVES throughout all of time... For US, He died that one time in Jerusalem 2,000 years ago... But for God, who lives outside of time...His...

    IS JESUS' SACRIFICE ETERNAL?

Maybe YOU know what I said and what YOU said,,,but those reading along may not. What's a mystery to me is why some do not post entire statements of the other member.

Escape from the city of Lost

I agree. This is why Nicodemus asked Jesus how it could be possible that a man could go back into the womb. And it refers to the TWO births: The natural, physical one (with water involved) And the spiritual one...from above. I also don't understand how these verses could be referring to...

Escape from the city of Lost

Very beautiful F,,,it's apparent you're a writer from many of the comments you make. Very intelligent too, if I may add. As to water,,,,what about amniotic fluid??? What is Jesus talking about in John 3? Baptismal water, or amniotic fluid? Don't want to derail....PM?

    Pre-Trib Rapture is Dead!!!

I don't believe in personal opinion. I've studied it enough to know what I know,,,I just haven't studied what others believe about this because from what I've read, Jesus returns ONE TIME,not two times. In order for your belief to be correct, He'd have to return two times. As to ignoring...

    Pre-Trib Rapture is Dead!!!

Agreed. Also, you could add transgression to the list. Transgression: Breaking a law once it's known. :)

    Pre-Trib Rapture is Dead!!!

Unbelievers have always been experiencing God's wrath. I don't believe there will be a tribulation in the way you describe it. I DO believe the end will be full of tribulation...more than the world has ever seen because it'll be world-wide; not because it'll be new in any way. All the...
