I appreciate that you answered amicably but it seems that we still are not quite "face to face". Do you suppose something like Skype would help us? Never mind that option! Only God gives the increase! May He richly bless you as you continue to seek His face!

And where is His dwelling place? "For the LORD hath chosen Zion; he hath desired it for his habitation. This is my rest for ever: here will I dwell; for I have desired it." Psalm 132:13-14 "Neither pray I for these alone, but for them also which shall believe on me through their word; That...

Whether there is or there is not such a thing as a rapturous catch away, should not be a cause of concern for any who are on the Lord's side now. Today is the day to rejoice and be glad in Him in every moment and to love Him as He loves us. Today and right now is the time be with Him always. Has...

The "churches" like the "Christian" have already been redefined by many. People look to the U.S. Constitution to protect their rights to believe and worship as they will, but the changing definitions are it seems removing protections without directly changing the law. Look rather to Jesus and...

Read about Stephen, a young man, who loved God and died looking up even as the stones killed his body of flesh. God is no respecter of persons!

"And Jesus saith unto him, The foxes have holes, and the birds of the air have nests; but the Son of man hath not where to lay his head." Matt 8:20 "For the LORD hath chosen Zion; he hath desired it for his habitation. This is my rest for ever: here will I dwell; for I have desired it." Psalm...

Imprisoned

That is the way of our flesh. We want to speak and tell the world what we know and perhaps receive a pat on the back for it. So a question may incite a really hungry person to reach out or it may cause someone whose mouth never stops to stop and contemplate the issue. There is a time to speak as...

Our friend @Willie T was a person in the flesh who like all of us had his own conflicts... battles that he, with God's help, had to fight. For Willie the battles are finished. Now we ,who remain, must go forward toward Jesus ourselves to the end of our course. God is always speaking to...

When I met my wife, I was a student in Mexico City, only at home in California for Christmas break. We only dated a couple of times and I had to leave to go back to Mexico. We exchanged written letters for several months and in one of those letters I finally asked her to marry me and she said...

"But if there be no interpreter, let him keep silence in the church; and let him speak to himself, and to God." I Cor 14:28 In reading in the scriptures that has been and still very commonly is the problem: No interpreter. Who is qualified? A student of the ancient biblical languages and...

Anymore? What does that verse say? "Wherefore henceforth know we no man after the flesh: yea, though we have known Christ after the flesh, yet now henceforth know we him no more." II Cor 5:16 The 12 who followed Jesus closely for those 3½ years saw his face of flesh, but they were all like...

To me it boils down to Jesus is the Word of God, but it is much more complicated than that. Jesus is the name given to the born Messiah [Christ]. That verse I quoted [Rev 19:13] is saying that his name is the Word of God. The Word became flesh. And God had already put a name to that Word, that...
