    Are we divine ???

But it is not heaven that becomes lower as the earth is lower, but the earth that becomes as heaven, meaning as God, whom is spirit.

    Are we divine ???

You accuse me of picking out a small part of a verse, and then you do the same thing - yet, so did Jesus do likewise. But you call it wrong because of your own "translation." That is just you desperately defending the flesh, while I am desperately defending the spirit. How is it that you say...

    Are we divine ???

This is the point in which you error. You have stated that Jesus had this same incorruptible body after His resurrection, that you believe is what Ezekiel and others have foretold of heaven, but this is incorrect. The body of Christ that was resurrected was still His earthly body...for He said...

    Are we divine ???

You are using worldly terms in an attempt to explain a heavenly reality - which do not apply. That which is in the world is only a manifestation limited to the fallen nature, of what is on high and eternal. Light has no communion with this darkness - there is no actual correlation except by "image."

    Are we divine ???

However, the mortal putting on immortality explanation is not incorrect, but incomplete. It does not elaborate the fact that if we are born again of the spirit of God, we are that completely new creation residing in the world in earthen vessels (flesh and blood) which cannot inherit the kingdom...

    Are we divine ???

That is certainly the desire of the flesh - but God is spirit, and therefore none of that can be substantiated in the scripture. And you are wrong...God did not give the Son to the human race...He sent the Son, that the world might be saved, that where they are, we might be also - not in the...

    Are we divine ???

Allegory works. Actually, it is parables and spirit, as is all the word of God according to God. But, whether you believe that or not, your answer has you contradicting other scriptures that you cannot reconcile: "flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God", etc.. There is absolutely no...

    Are we divine ???

That is a good question and one that is often mistaken. But the difference is the difference between the world and the kingdom of heaven. In other words, in the world Jesus was the Word made flesh, God with us...but not the full glory of the Father, which He has now entered into, and so shall He...

    Are we divine ???

All of what is seen, whether in the flesh or in visions, is manifest, but only manifest and not the Spirit, but in the spirit. Christ explains the nature of all that is spirit, and John explains that (at that time) they did "not yet know what we shall be", but that when we see Christ, we will...

    Are we divine ???

Indeed, the spirit benefits the flesh.
  11. ScottA

    Are we divine ???

Well, the bottom line is that "the flesh profits nothing." So, I should think that what Moses came down the mountain with was not something he had when he went up, but what was from God.
  12. ScottA

    Are we divine ???

But the point is, there can be no "glorified" flesh per se, for "flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God."
  13. ScottA

    Are we divine ???

The blood is only representational. "Flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God."

    Unforgiveable Blasphemy?

As the apostle Paul clearly stated, "Now the Lord is the Spirit" 2 Corinthians 3:17. Which means that the Son has come in the glory of the Father, whom men cannot speak against and live.
  15. ScottA

    Are we divine ???

If there were any case for what is outward, Christ would have committed His flesh to the Father also. But, no, He only committed His spirit.
  16. ScottA

    Are we divine ???

I would say that because Jesus lowered Himself to be as we are (meaning having a fallen nature), a son of man, that men cannot be considered divine until we are born again of the spirit of God. Also, an interesting considered is, that because we continue in the image of our fallen man even...

    is man in God's image?

When you look into the glass dimly...what do you see? The point is...what you see is...an image.
  18. ScottA

    Unforgiveable Blasphemy?

No, being wrong is not unforgivable. It is more a matter of refusing or not receiving the Holy Spirit that is unforgivable.

Should the words Gentile(s) or Heathen exist in scripture?

I would caution and suggest, that God's providence over His word, is not subject to translations, but goes forth throughout all generations according to His will alone, in spite of the errors of men. I would even go so far as to say that if it is not convincing that God as much as uses men's...

    The SECOND coming.

How's your health? If the Lord has come into you, you see Him in spirit. If not, then you see Him in death. This is the second coming: First the flesh, then the Spirit.
