ohhh dear, it's getting complicated now :) Any 'music' that is confused and without harmony has the imprint of the evil one.

very well said brakelite, very well!

The righteousness of God is the quality of God, not me. Romans 1:16-17 tells us that in the Gospel God's righteous is revealed. Without looking closer at the Jesus event, not my event, we misunderstand what righteousness consists of. Our focus is too easily turned onto ourselves.

If I would summarise 'the righteousness of God' I would say it is self denial to the max. This gives me much to chew on.

I was reading earlier and seeing the topic is God's standard I thought I'd share these snippets.... 'Love one another' says the Saviour, 'as I have loved you. Greater love has no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.' Christ has given us an example of pure disinterested...

yes I have read CS Lewis Butterfly, but it is not my guide or the foundation I base my understanding on, neither is it my daily sustenance.

We all know what a hypocrite is....someone who doesn't deliver in spite of all the glowing words. Paul is saying, the faith of Jesus saves, not with permission to remain sinning but from sinning. There are plenty who spruke glowing words but deny them by their behaviour. If you do not deliver...

let me try....run like blazers so that you get off enchanted ground.

I suppose it is flat on the underside as well? ...and is that a round disc or a square? ...and how thick is it? Do I also need to question the oxygen availability in the air because everyone tells me its there? The holocaust is also questioned by some. I'm astounded at the foolishness embraced...

well mike, on one level I'm not surprised yet still curious as to where I lost you?

yes butterfly, it's been some years back and I'm pressed to recall titles....Left behind stuff I think.

'I am not ashamed of the gospel......for in it is the righteousness of God revealed....' Romans 1:16-17

End times fiction is like end times metal music.....the imagination runs wild, is disordered, confused, without harmony and devoid of the Spirit of God.

The nature of deception is that those deceived are oblivious to it! Paradigms that spawn substitutions for truth are akin to addictions and create driven men. Leave them said Jesus, they are blind guides.

I've been watching Wiki Leaks thing for a long time. Seriously expose those in power and the blade will fall. It is a testimony against those who claim our protection when exposed as frauds. They got Jesus then went after his mates.....do you qualify?? Lies and misrepresentation are not...

the sow that is washed can always go back to the mud.

Jesus says, be perfect even as your father in heaven is perfect. I don't think Jesus would have this if it were not possible.

Naomi posted this illustration below some time back. I thought it was good. If the earth is flat does that mean the other planets are flat as well as the sun and the moon?
