Prayer for you Larry2. What terrible experiences we must go through. God be with us.

Just as I thought. Afraid to speak to me? So we're to ignore the O.T. because it does not apply to us? Deuteronomy 8:3 We will live by every word that comes out of the mouth of God. This was repeated by Jesus in the New Testament, Mathew 4:4 It's a true statement for both the O.T. and the...

Yes, I know. But I meant anything that says Jesus is not God Himself. In case anyone doesn't know...here is what arianism is: Arianism, in Christianity, the Christological(concerning the doctrine of Christ) position that Jesus, as the Son of God, was created by God. It was proposed early in...

Could you please reply to the charge that Tyndale was killed by the CC because he printed a bible that everyone could read??

I just got here and can't possibly read this thread from the beginning so I don't know what's going on. To your comment above, I would like to say that the CC has informed its congregation (at least those interested -- not many are) that if they have a bible from before 2008 they should buy a...

Yeah....those parents, Always butting in! LOL

It's not strange. Prayer is good. And it's good to know others understand and care and we are not isolated. I know this from experience.... We all need prayer, even me. God be with us.

Hi H, What a beautiful baby! I love babies. I have two children, in their 40's. We want the best for them so I understand your pain. My prayer is that your daughter learns to love and care for herself. My prayer is that God gives you the strength you need to face this situation,,,which I...

Read verse 15. Were you wrought in the depths of the earth? This is a poem ,,, poems are not literal.

Hell is where God is not. Will read the psalm now.

P.S. The links you posted explain this very well...

Hi A, Welcome to our forum. We're a pretty nice bunch here...feel free to say what's on your mind. To tell you the truth, I don't really understand what you're saying, but you have a love for Jesus and that's all that matters.

It's not confusing to me because I've studied it with two different churches and they both taught the same. Man can be seen as a dichotomy: Body Soul/Spirit In this case the body is separated from the Soul and Spirit...the Spirit becomes a part of the soul. Man can also be seen as a...

Where does the bible say Jesus went to hell??

bb, this is the first chance. We were DEAD, now we're ALIVE. I get what you mean though.

A spirit with no soul. So WHO are you going to be?? We all have a body, a soul, and a spirit. The body dies... The soul and spirit live on. Your soul makes you who you are, if that does not live on...WHO will you be?

Why the sarcasm? I don't even know you....I don't care that you had to go to bed. Is this what the discussion was about? Don't bother to reply to this. Thanks.

Ha! My favorite kind of plant!!

I've read Romans 8 C, I'm trying to find out what YOU think and you should post the verse you're speaking of when asked to...it's the courteous thing to do. I'm not interested in the New Jerusalem,,,I know nothing, or close to nothing of eschatology....I believe you're saying that each one of...

I was too tired last night. Some wolves try to get us to believe that Jesus is not God. You know about Arianism. It was rejected by the church. I also am speaking about the Apostles and those whom they taught. The Fathers I speak of did not speak English...so? WE do not speak Greek. What's...
