Critical thinking and education is linked to loss of faith

Coward. Battles are being fought to the death. Your indifference is noted. An unexamined life. So sad. Just bouncing from one wave to another in the sea of emotion and whim. Going nowhere. No yearning for anything. What a waste. Waste is disposed of.

I already addressed this Strawman deconstruction point multiple times. What does that tell you?

Critical thinking and education is linked to loss of faith

You need to wake up, get eyes to see and ears to hear. Sacrifice is a requirement throughout Scripture and I showed it to you. Denial is not just a river in Egypt.

Critical thinking and education is linked to loss of faith

I've said it before. The basic problem is that you have an argument but I have experience. My faith is not based on an argument that I found compelling; it is based on lived experience.

Critical thinking and education is linked to loss of faith

You are lost! Everything that exists is limited, i.e., has an end. Everything!

It depends. "Different" is often bad, despite propaganda lie that it is strength.

Critical thinking and education is linked to loss of faith

The test comes AFTER you mature and take a stand. What battle? Do you find nothing but peace everywhere you look in the world today? No. It's what you get but what you give. The Bible says YOU must seek, ask and knock. You have the burden.

Critical thinking and education is linked to loss of faith

So what that I most quoted the OT? The idea that God requires sacrifice is throughout the Bible. Obvious from Genesis to Leviticus, Isaiah and even NT Romans. Nothing changed in a way, with the arrival of the Messiah? Then again, everything changed by those called by God with the arrival of the...

Critical thinking and education is linked to loss of faith

I appreciate your honest answer. The point of the question - what do you stand for - is that it reveals what kind of man you are. On our death bed, we really ought to know why we lived, what purpose did our existence serve, what side of the battle are we on. Being a big 7 Habits guy - Begin...

Yes. The New Covenant replaced and annulled the Old.

Yea, I did get to that. Note: I did not say you are a fool but foolish.

You really don’t get it. ‘Freedom’ is a good means but not an end. Same thing with critical thinking. Regarding Atheists standing for wonder and mystery, does that really differentiate you from other religions? How do you achieve and maintain this wonder and mystery?

What is this common goal? What do you stand for?

Not touchy, just rebuking foolishness. What do you stand for?

They all say Yah required a sacrifice. But you don't have eyes to see.

Why Christian nationalism is pure poison for the U.S.

Dodge. I'd hate to be an atheist, living with all that fear and hate. You can lash out at me and other CyB Christians all you want. Christ be glorified all the more. What do you propose be done with such Christian intolerant bigots? Everything can be tolerated by Atheists except the...

Any thoughts on this? No exploding heads please.

More moonpies. I have an absolute, rather than relative epistemology. While some things require orientation, like directions, most things are absolute. The notion of absolutes is roundly rejected by both the deconstructionists and the mystics. So, let's give two examples of things that are...

Any thoughts on this? No exploding heads please.

Mystics. I'm glad you see it that way. When my friend's church began a sermon series going through the entire Gospel of Matthew, he cautioned people, as he had in the past, not to read too much into the text. I forget the terms of history but he said there was a time when Christology really...
