At first it was UPC, but I also belonged to two different other Oneness Jesus Only groups, one being Hispanic which I enjoyed because on my Spanish. The other one was an all black congregation in Vallejo CA except for me and my family. To this day my son still says that the Vallejo church is the...

Hmmm? I grew with the Trinity as a Catholic. When I had been gone from Catholicism for about 14 years, God drew me to Him into a very strict Oneness Jesus Only group. I was with them and others similar for 11 years and began for the first time in my life to read the Bible. I learned good things...

Amen! Indeed! At that time we did not have a tornado shelter. Within a few months we had a windfall payment of money come our way and had a tornado shelter installed. We moved away before it ever became necessary to use it.

@My Dreams Joining with you in prayer for all in need of God! He is able in every situation! Praise His name!

Well we all need to make do with what we have... or what we don't have! Give God the glory!

I recall a bit more than 20 years ago when we lived about 15 miles outside of Ponca City OK, a tornado came through our neighbors yard about 25 yards to our south and took the top off of his well house. A few minutes later the same tornado turned around and came back from the opposite direction...

But then again what things really considered by many as belonging to Caesar do not ultimately belong to God? "Now therefore, if ye will obey my voice indeed, and keep my covenant, then ye shall be a peculiar treasure unto me above all people: for all the earth is mine:" Ex 19:5 "All that...

@My Dreams Joining here in prayer!

Yet even before Jesus was born to Mary in Bethlehem we read this about Job: "There was a man in the land of Uz, whose name was Job; and that man was perfect and upright, and one that feared God, and eschewed evil" Job 1:1 What does God mean by "perfect"? "Be ye therefore perfect, even as your...

"Let nothing be done through strife or vainglory; but in lowliness of mind let each esteem other better than themselves." Phil 2:3

And if and when the new born son of God refuses the Lord's chastisement, what then? "For whom the Lord loveth he chasteneth, and scourgeth every son whom he receiveth. If ye endure chastening, God dealeth with you as with sons; for what son is he whom the father chasteneth not? But if ye be...

"But who am I, and what is my people, that we should be able to offer so willingly after this sort? for all things come of thee, and of thine own have we given thee." I Chron 29:14 "As every man hath received the gift, even so minister the same one to another, as good stewards of the manifold...

Unexpected perhaps to men, or to most men, but certainly not to God. Did He not know all of His plan before the foundation of the earth?

We, each of us, needs to be where God has called us to be and to do what He calls us to do. We need to function as the part that we are... according to Him: "For the body is not one member, but many." I Cor 12:14

There is indeed in probably most believers an 'old man' that is not yet completely and finally dead. Until he is, the struggle between the 'new man' and the 'old man' continues. That 'old man' is the beast that remains. Solomon wrote of this a thousand years before Jesus was born in Bethlehem...

Or perhaps some who have already overcome as Jesus overcame are also remaining silent as Jesus remained silent! What is God's will in this?

Or even prior to Jesus' birth in Bethlehem?

Why not ask rather, Who here is born of God? "Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God." I John 3:9

Not theory but scripture. She posted scripture and instead of discussing what the verses meant, you resumed an apparently old attack from other threads on her person because you disagree with her. Should a person who is sinless answer your question just to satisfy your curiosity or to support...
