Regarding the no Sabbath doctrine, there are some biblical scholars who do believe in Saturday worship. As you know, the reason this bothers me is because Sabbath worship is one of the commandments and I don't understand why that commandments is abolished and not the other 9. It seems to me...

Smeg head is funny. Where I live there's a plumbing company we use called Smeg. Does that make me a smeg head?? Oh. And what is a whole faith? Like what St. Francis had?

Interesting. They became what Christian's are supposed to be after they left Christianity. Why? Maybe they feel more free to be themselves because they found Christianity a burden? Maybe they felt they couldn't live up to the commands of God? Maybe they just wanted to do what they wanted to and...

    Why "LAW" =/= "OLD COVENANT"

Witnessing is not so easy in Italy. People here are mainly atheists and do not like to talk about God or church. They are especially disgusted with churches since they used to be part of the govt here and many still see them in that way instead of as messengers of God. I DO understand this...

I see what you meant here, but you used different wording in the other post that made it seem that Abraham had to meet a "condition".

I've asked that many times. I do feel that we have to, after our own investigation, stick to some kind of traditional theology --- whatever that may mean; it could mean different things to different persons. One problem I have with Protestantism is this idea that we're all little theologians...

    Why "LAW" =/= "OLD COVENANT"

The first Christians WERE called cannibals. Is this an indication of how John 6:54 was understood back then? It also seems as if the Early Church Fathers understood it in a literal sense. I'm just not sure. Will answer your other interesting post in a little while....must go.

Here's what you said in post 899: The New Covenant is but a part of the Abrahamic Covenant. It too pertains to Israel but we in the Church come into it under the blessings aspect. (Gen. 12:3) The only condition Abraham was under was in leaving his home to go to the land God had promised. The...

Lord means Jesus. LORD means Yaweh. Then we have to take into consideration that this was not always considered in the O.T. So, yes, sometimes it might say LORD but really we could understand that it was the Son (Lord) and not the Father since the Father was never seen. If I remember it seems...
