Christ Saved Us... What Do Good Works Do?

Thats not true. If a christian could not sin, we would be born again as a spiritually mature perfect believer. And not as babes in christ that need milk.

    Counterfeit Christianity

Amen, When God sees us, He sees his son. We also have his son as High priest sitting at Gods right hand making intercession. My job is to admit when I did something, and move on, thanking God.. Seeking the things of the spirit. To continue to look at self and sin is to in essence place...

Christ Saved Us... What Do Good Works Do?

well lets see, Before we were saved, the best we could accomplish was works of the flesh. After we are saved, we have been made a new creature. the old has passed away, all things have become new. Good works are now not only normal for us. but they come naturally. Where before we had to love...

NEWSFLASH: Abraham was not a Jew. Neither was Isaac. Neither was Jacob.

I just pray will not fail to keep his promise to you like he failed to keep his promise to them (in your view)

Abrahamic covenant Gen 12 12 Now the Lord had said to Abram: “Get out of your country, From your family And from your father’s house, To a land that I will show you. 2 I will make you a great nation; I will bless you And make your name great; And you shall be a blessing. 3 I will bless those...

NEWSFLASH: Abraham was not a Jew. Neither was Isaac. Neither was Jacob.

Thats ok. When the Bible talks about the old covenant, it is the law of moses it is talking about. I could care less what people outside the Bible think

Yes. Concerning the mosaic covenant The land promise is the abrahamic covenant. Not the mosaic. Nice try.
  16. Eternally Grateful

NEWSFLASH: Abraham was not a Jew. Neither was Isaac. Neither was Jacob.

The NT promises concern eternal life with God in heaven Theydo not negate the OT promise about a people and a land.
  17. Eternally Grateful

NEWSFLASH: Abraham was not a Jew. Neither was Isaac. Neither was Jacob.

a new promise does not negate an old promise when God says forever. he means it Let me guess. You do not think eternal life is eternal either do you. You believe it can be lost..

NEWSFLASH: Abraham was not a Jew. Neither was Isaac. Neither was Jacob.

It happens THEN.. why do you make it so difficult. when will it happen? 25 For I do not desire, brethren, that you should be ignorant of this mystery, lest you should be wise in your own [f]opinion, that blindness in part has happened to Israel until the fullness of the Gentiles has come in...

Please read the OT where God gave the promise. and tell me when eternal ends

NEWSFLASH: Abraham was not a Jew. Neither was Isaac. Neither was Jacob.

God made promises in the OT. He stated they were forever covenants.. Those covenants are still binding.. You can deny it all you want.. I believe God keeps his promises. The new covenant replaced the mosaic covenant as a means of eternal life.. Not the abrahamic covenant..
