    Limited Atonement VS Universal Atonement

We are saved by what Christ did on Calvary - ONLY if we respond to it and cooperate WITH it. You cannot simply sit there and ignore Him and expect to be saved.
  2. BreadOfLife

    Limited Atonement VS Universal Atonement

Apparently NOT - because the Holy Spirit says that even those with an EPIGNOSIS of Christ can walk away from Him and LOSE it all (Heb. 10:26). There are several other verses that say this.

    Limited Atonement VS Universal Atonement

Nobody said that the “intelligent” or “sane” ones leave. I agree with you – you would HAVE to be insane – or just downright evil to walk away from Christ. Unfortunately, there are MANY who will walk away from Him.
  4. BreadOfLife

    Limited Atonement VS Universal Atonement

WRONG. That is NOT what Jesus Himself taught (Matt. 28:19).
  5. BreadOfLife

    Limited Atonement VS Universal Atonement

And therein lies your ENTIRE problem. It's not YOUR perpective that counts but the perspective of the Holy Spirit . . .

BAPTISM SAVES, FOR THE REMISSION OF SINS"

Only if you understand that flesh did NOT become the Word, but the other way around.

Did The Bible Or The Papacy Transfer The Sabbath Rest To Sunday?

First of all – the statements you have quoted have been taken OUT of context. “No Scriptural Authority” simply means that it is not MANDATED y Scripture – NOT that it wasn’t practiced in Scripture, Einstein. One of the statements you completely LIED about, was also taken OUT of context: "The...

BAPTISM SAVES, FOR THE REMISSION OF SINS"

You left out the fact that the normal word for HUMAN eating is “Phagon”. This is NOT the word used here in John 6:54 when talking about “eating” the flesh of Christ. The word changes to “Trogon”, which is the way an animal eats his food. John is making a point here to show that Jesus meant...

    Limited Atonement VS Universal Atonement

They are a basic ELEMENT of faith - just as hydrogen is to water.
  10. BreadOfLife

    Limited Atonement VS Universal Atonement

No – Water Baptism is REQUIRED of us (Matt. 8:19, Mark 16:16, Acts 2:38, 1 Pet. 3:21). There is NO indication that the Ethiopian Eunuch in Acts 8 received the Holy Spirit until AFTER he was BAPTIZED.
  11. BreadOfLife

    Limited Atonement VS Universal Atonement

AGAIN - nothing can separate us from the love of God, but ourselves. Notice that Romans 8 does NOT mention this - because, as I have shown - there are many other verses that say born again believers CAN walk away from Him.
  12. BreadOfLife

    Limited Atonement VS Universal Atonement

No, God gives us the MEANS to remain faithful. He doesn't do it FOR us. That is NOT faith - it's coersion . . . . . .
  13. BreadOfLife

    Limited Atonement VS Universal Atonement

Yes - IF they maintain that fear. CONTEXT, son . . .
  14. BreadOfLife

    Limited Atonement VS Universal Atonement

If you think water is "unnecessary", then YES, you have misinterpreted, indeed . . .
  15. BreadOfLife

    Limited Atonement VS Universal Atonement

And I suppose you believe Jesus was speaking about amniotic fluid in John 3:5 . . . Besides, Peter was talking about the waters of the FLOOD that prefigured Baptismal water because we are saved through it - just as Noah was saved through the waters of the Flood. It has been fun . . .
  16. BreadOfLife

    Limited Atonement VS Universal Atonement

Yes, we are baptized with fire and with the Holy Spirit – but NOT until we are baptized with WATER: John 3:5 Amen, amen, I say to you, unless a man is born of WATER and Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God. 1 Pet. 3:21 This WATER prefigures Baptism, which now SAVES YOU—not the removal of...

    Limited Atonement VS Universal Atonement

No – Jesus CLEARLY states that Baptism is a requirement (Mark 16:16, John 3:5) – yet the Thief on the cross was saved without being baptized with water. He was an EXCEPTION to the rule and received the Baptism of Desire.
  18. BreadOfLife

    Limited Atonement VS Universal Atonement

And that – like the Thief on the cross is an EXCEPTION to the rule. God can and DOES make exceptions. A little advice for YOU: Don’t form your doctrines on the exceptions – but on the NORM . . .
  19. BreadOfLife

    Limited Atonement VS Universal Atonement

In Jer. 32, God says that He gives His people the tools so that they MAY always fear Him He doesn’t say that they always WILL fear Him. There is not ONE verse in ALL of Scripture that states that born again believers will REMAIN that way – unless THEY CHOOSE to. As long as that fear remains in...

    Limited Atonement VS Universal Atonement

And how does forcing us to stay with Him NOT make God a rapist?? The God of Christianity – of the Bible gives US the choice to love and stay with Him. The pathetic god YOU’VE invented for yourself is an insecure being who has to create robots to “love” him.
