H.Richard. I believe the reason is that as someone already said..as we here are Christians it is taken as a given. The "preaching of the cross" if for the unsaved...that's where you need to preach it if you feel so called to do so. The Blood, The Cross and the sacrifice are the firm...

Glad that you asked that....I too am very much interested to hear the answer to this one.

Better yet...this subjectmtitle of this thread should read.. " Why do Christians treat Anyone as the enemy..other than Satan and his evil demons" ?????

Amen Sword...there is so much opposition to "active faith" these days. My bible says " Faith without works is dead." Many say that they have 'faith in Jesus'...but it is often dead, as it has no active faith works " following"......as in- " these signs shall follow them that believe..."...

I would say..Yes, He will... Why not? God sent Jesus to open they Way to Himself. In my book...we were saved, we are saved, and we will yet be saved. What is up for grabs is WHERE we will stand in regards to the Kingdom and The Throne!! That is what we are all 'working-out" now as we...

Amen to that. I think since I came back on here a month ago, I find more of the "I am right and you are wrong" mentality dominating. The sad thing is...people seem to forget that we are all ( *as the believers that you listed above) on the same side!! Yet pride and dominance to prove oneself...

That was a good post Sword.. Amen! That is something that grieves me too, when people cannot see the depth of the love of God. Yet they profess to being His child. Like Father like son. These to me are the ones who " never knew Him" or waited before him quietly so He could reveal His heart...

You talk to us like we are stupid or something...I KNOW it was not a snake..that is why I wrote it as "snake"...neither is /was it a serpent... Believe what you want...much good may it do you. Personally...it doesn't really matter anyway..nowhere does it change our walk with God, or our basic...

The answer is still No, Can We Honor Jesus Christ Through His Mother Mary? NO. Not in my bible anyway . Jesus Christ in the advocate between God and Mankind. We need no one between us and God ,except our Advocate Jesus Christ. He broke down the wall of separation. Mary did her part...

Eastgate..it is YOU who 'needs the Garden' ..because you want to tell the world that the 'snake' impregnated Eve...but many people have already said that long before you...it tickles someones fancy, but not mine...as it is NOT what God said....but what you say that He said...but He did not. Not...

Good grief...I don't even like being above the 6th floor in hotel, let alone climb up a ladder like that!! I wonder if he gets paid danger money! Glad that it's his job and not mine!! LOL

Yep...very true. Cain and Abel were never in the Garden. Isn't Nimrod in the line of Cain? ...I forget now, but I think so...I'm in too much of a hurry to check it out now.

Whoops..forgot to write a response before posting. Interesting , I think this may be the first time we have disagreed with each other..fun! :) Just as we see many different flowers, animals, trees etc..there are different flavours of Christians. One has a heavy focus upon the work of the...

Good post, agree on both points. But...as you have very clearly said...We already have a thread going on this topic!! =================================================

Firstly I admit that I have not read all the pages go this thread. The trouble I see for pastors is that they foolishly believe that they are the whole ball of wax!! Top dog and most important. A pastor cannot lead if no one is following. Thefore God's ' most important' is His Body...

Sadly I agree....we now find ourselves living in a post- Christian age. It seems, and maybe I am totally wrong...but it appears to be that the more anti-Christian the left is getting, the harsher ,harder , and more militant the Christians are becoming in some places. One of the Devils weapons...

Hi there. Thanks for your response. I do not believe in any ' apple' except the one I am writing on!!:) Neither a snake. Neither literal trees... My personal belief is that the sin was unbelief. ( which as we know, led to disobedience. ) God had given them all they needed to have ...'He...

No, not at all....it's what 'you' are saying that is total rubbish. You said- "It's clear Cain was the son of Satan." 1) It is not clear. 2) Therefore it is nothing but a silly fairy tale and total rubbish.

Well said Sword. Not only what you mentioned re non Christians...but also those of a different 'strain and flavour' of Christianity!! On this site we see brother against brother..and people calling each other deceived, or stronger. The things is...when "the chips are down"...( which may not...

Well said! Thumbs up. Oh how people like that enjoy the sound of their own voice... To that post by eastgate I say...Total rubbish. Been there, heard that old chestnut before!! No proof and nothing to build that persuasion upon at all.
