I made a similar point in a different thread. He said he invited scrutiny of what he says, then disregarded all my questions. Intellectual honesty, indeed. Where is this in Scripture? No where! Still pushing idolatry. Another pattern observed today with you is how your threads today are void...

I'm sorry if this sounds harsh but I cannot imagine an OP so hell bent on relying on ones own understanding, in direct opposition to the Word of God @ Proverbs 3:5-6. You are again pushing gnosticism, special knowledge, foisting your own understanding as the basis for action. <sigh> A pattern...

So, America was not civilized in the 1950's when corporal punishment of children was policy? You advocate only government commit such crimes or what? This is why all civilised governments have abolished their police and military. So, they won't be accused of assaulting anyone. Is that right?

Beating childnren is not abuse. NOT beating them is abuse. Thou shalt beat him with the rod, and shalt deliver his soul from hell. Ps 23:14

And he did so in righteous anger!

Last year I took a deep dive into Psalm 23 in a Bible Study class, which used a book just for Psalm 23. The book explained shepherds tended to have 2 "rods;" the famous shephers' hooked staff to tend to the flock and also a short club to defend against wolves, etc.

The pastor told me that violating two of the 10th amendment is ‘biblical’. So forgive me if the term biblical has lost all credibility. There’s simply is no doctrine of the trinity verse and all of scripture and 66 books it’s not mentioned once.

Wrong. WHAT (doctrines) does not save people . It is WHO saves people (God, through Christ). Romans 10:9 The IDOLATRY of knowledge, of your doctrines is plain to see. So much for you truly inviting challenge to what you teach. Any real challenge is dismissed as baiting or silly then ignored...

You are not doing this 'at all;' foist what you have approved on others, be it in error or heresy?! Given your denial of foisting what you have approved on others - be it in error or heresy - just what is the basis of what you say? I did not say anything about you pretending anything. Where...

Isn’t that what you - and everyone who promotes a particular doctrine - foist what you have approved on others, be it in error or heresy?

Fair game? No wonder you skipped over my other question about idolatry.

That is Steve’s point. He is a servant of God - not the servant of those who are criticizing him.

No. Only you. It’s just that you quoted an unnamed person. And you didn’t answer my question. Who were you quoting?

Friend, that is what translations are for. :) Indeed, God saying he is ever present (GE 3:14) is no name of his at all. This is the point that @Peterlag made brilliantly not too long ago. He specifically says in v15 what his name is, which again, is not variation of I am. As you said, those...

When I clicked on it to get the web address, it read, What are the tips from flight attendants that every passenger should know before traveling?. The ad I saw on CyB read 'Pictures that share too much.' It showed 3 women, presumably flight attendants, with big smiles fondling their own...

Orders? You've demonstrated willful ignorance of the word, in general, and of the meaning of rescind, in particular.

I don't normally write such long posts, Episkopos. I guess that means you inspired me. LOL It's hard to respond point by point in writing to a video. Just a point of clarification; did you equate heresy with causing division? Heresy is by definition merely a doctrine in opposition to a standard...

Directly contradicting Scripture at Hebrews 10:26.

Respective bravery, that is. Same applies to you. The difference is, I'm not afraid to look up what 'rescind' means and apply it to the current topic. See the difference?

Censorship is the fallback when you’ve lost the argument but think power - abuse of power - will achieve your goal.
