Actually if a person really is an ignoramus, it simply means he doesn't know much in some area. Rather than merely ignorant [one lacking is knowledge], he is extremely ignorant. If use correctly I have not been among Calvinists, but among Pentecostals and they with very different...

Perhaps I did not make myself clear: It is what the devil spoke that was dead! The devil did quote scripture from Psalm 91:11. Then Jesus answered him quoting scripture from Deut 6:16. "And saith unto him, If thou be the Son of God, cast thyself down: for it is written, He shall give his...

I really only know about Calvinists what I have read on forums such as this one. I don't remember it all, of course, but if it were correct, I would really be wondering not about them as much as about God. I don't wonder about God. I simply love Him for what He has allowed me to see.

Are people born this way or is it something that develops due to circumstances?

If what you say is the case, is there no possibility for such a 'deaf' person to obtain hearing?

Where do you believe a person is able to obtain those "ears to hear"? Do you have scripture for it?

An unopened Bible is just exactly that. Lots of people own Bibles but never read them. LOL kind of like me in high school. I frequently took school books home with good intentions to study, but seldom actually cracked a book. I didn't learn to study until college. There are people like that with...

Indeed, is this not what Jesus is also saying here? "For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them." Matt 18:20 People do not know or have forgotten what it means to be "in His name". Being "in His name" means much more than meeting some place and...

Maybe when the real ministers of God have finished their work, we'll have moved up to here? "Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ:" Eph 4:13

And so often the difference is substantial!

I am praying with you my friend! It is never too late while there is still time. Give God the glory!

Usually they were fryers but some were also egg layers! Don't you have any chicken congregations in your neck of the woods?

Yes, I remember when my step-dad was raising chickens. As hard as he tried to save the life of a chicken who already had a visible injury, short of removing the chicken, he could not. The other chickens would literally peck the wounded one to death.

Unfortunately most churches teach people to quench the Holy Spirit. When we have encountered a place where the Holy Spirit always leads or at least that they really try to teach people to follow the Spirit, that would be a place to attend.

Even so! If no one in attendance brought something from God, then the place is empty of things that matter!

Absolutely! I still pray for my family. Some of them have a glimmer, which I hope will become a seven fold Light.!

Consider that the first four sons of Jacob were by Leah, his first and least favorite wife. When Reuben disqualified himself by sleeping with one of Jacob's concubines, Jacob seemingly took advantage of the Reuben's loss to the swing the double portion normally due to the first born over to...
