21st Century Christianity - A brief manifesto for our age.

You are so lost. Democracy is evil. Hitler was voted into power. Does that mean that everything he did after was good. America is not, nor has ever been a democracy. America is and always has been a Constitutionally limitied republic based on limited governemnt and individual rights. Untrue.

21st Century Christianity - A brief manifesto for our age.

You are not answering my question. Presumably because you do not intend to take up my challenge. I am and answered it in Post # 159. The term is already defined. Feel free to look it up. I'll start another thread to answer this question. No. Capitalism appeals to human ambition...

How do you do bible study?

My God man! The only begotten son of God in v18 is not the God - in his unitarian nature - referenced in v16 & 17. You just don't want to acknowledge when the Bible uses the word God it is not referring to a trinity but the Creator in his unitarian nature. It is God in his unitarian nature who...

Voluntary being the key word, which makes it necessarily makes it NGO - non-government entity. Government is the EXACT opposite of voluntary. Friend, you are so lost. The richest countries in the world have the healthiest environments.

21st Century Christianity - A brief manifesto for our age.

It's not a problem as the poor do not need to be rescued by their fellow man. Not even a little bit. The role of government is to help us protect our rights, not distribute our wealth against our will.

    Unitarianism vs Trinitarianism

Akin to a god that isn't the true God.

    Unitarianism vs Trinitarianism

Exactly! I know mystical dualists must reject logic and it's basic principle of mutual exclusivity; that contradictions do not exist in reality. This principle is why alibi's in a crime scenario are vital to eliminating suspects.

    Are Jehovah's witnesses real Christians?

It seems you are just asserting this as so. What would make the son - who is not explicitly identified as God anywhere in Scripture - less “God” than the only true God explicitly identified in Scripture, YHWH (who we relate to as our Father)?

    Are Jehovah's witnesses real Christians?

Of course Jesus was created. Sons, by definition, are created beings.

21st Century Christianity - A brief manifesto for our age.

Of course you have to make an Appeal to Subjectivism. The fact is, Christianity’s focus on the salvation of a single soul, the individual. The commands are individual and not collective. When Jesus says to help the poor, he does not mean to form an oligarchy with power to take the fruit of...

21st Century Christianity - A brief manifesto for our age.

Challenge? Do you mean this? The biggest problem in America is not the unequal distribution of wealth but Cultural Marxists poisoning the fabric of society, appealing to people’s covetous nature. The solution is to give such people as little power as possible, starting with an austere...

21st Century Christianity - A brief manifesto for our age.

The lesson to be learned from the story of Original Sin is faith in God is more important than knowledge. The whole idea of eating the fruit came from the devil, who appealed to Eve’s covetous desire to displace God. The devil appealed to her pride, her God complex that she could rule as good...

1 John 3:9 - Is it cannot "practice" sin, or cannot "commit" sin?

No, not entirely. To truly follow Christ requires discipline. Hence, the term disciple. One does not require discipline for what comes naturally. Christianity, therefore, is to go against nature, to choose to go with the supernatural Spirit of God. There is being saved. And there is being...

    Unitarianism vs Trinitarianism

1st, it is not about what I call it. 2nd, you are speculating it would not be a contradiction. 3rd, you are accepting the concept that contradictions exist in reality OR 4th, there is nothing but subjective reality, depending on one's understanding.

Is the holy spirit a living being Equal to God?

It's so funny that their mystical dualism does NOT apply for them to inferring verses to mean the trinity is invalid. Hypocrisy. Double Standards. It is sad.

Is the holy spirit a living being Equal to God?

Some invent this elaborate fiction that he had it, laid it down when he became man, and then took it back up again. Trouble is explicit Scripture says otherwise at 1 COR 15:23-28. And of course, that is a total distraction from the point of this thread, which is the inequality of the 3 supposed...

1 John 3:9 - Is it cannot "practice" sin, or cannot "commit" sin?

:) I fully agree with Pearl's post. One thing I'd add is that changing the word to 'practice' allow us to expand God's grace. This is because begin sealed by the Spirit, we are more sensitive to those times we succumb to the passions of the flesh and ask for forgiveness more.

    Are Jehovah's witnesses real Christians?

LOL A trinitarian invention, nowhere to be found in Scripture. It begs the question of who was Jesus praying to, who sent YHWH, told him what to say and how to say it? Who is greater than YHWH? Who knows more than YHWH? Who did YHWH submit to? And who raised YHWH from the dead?

    Unitarianism vs Trinitarianism

You are totally promoting a subjective reality. Otherwise you would not tie reality to ones understanding of it. My question was not about anyones understanding. My question was conceptual, do contradictions exist in reality?
