I just read this verse: Job 1:4 And his sons went and feasted in their houses, every one his day; and sent and called for their three sisters to eat and to drink with them. Job 1:5 And it was so, when the days of their feasting were gone about, that Job sent and sanctified them, and rose up...

I think that's like when Paul is talking about the difference between the milk and the meat. Somethings we have to grow into, other things we have to hear them over and over before they make sense. And think of all the people who are all different ages In Christ. Some just coming to him, others...

Grace No matter how broken and shattered the vase with loving hands, God puts the pieces in place :D

That's an interesting thought. The serpent brought Eve over to his table and had her eat the fruit from the tree she was told not to. And the devil told her that she would be just like God and would know how to do everything he does. And the devil told Eve that she was her own Idol and she could...

Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful. But his delight is in the law of the LORD; and in his law doth he meditate day and night. And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water...

Mercy: O give thanks unto the LORD; for he is good: because his mercy endureth for ever. Let Israel now say, that his mercy endureth for ever. Let the house of Aaron now say, that his mercy endureth for ever. Let them now that fear the LORD say, that his mercy endureth for ever. I called upon...

Thank You Nancy! I have a feeling that sometimes not everyone that visits a forum is a grownup. Maybe it's the first time they ever thought to check one out. I just try to make it fun and easy. Like I'm reading storytime in a library. I remember mom taking me on weekends and we would get to pick...

Thank You Amadeus! I belive that it's that same spirit of Jezebel in the church of Thyatira in Revelation, that still plagues the church today. Today most churches are a business. I don't know much about owning one, but it sure seems like easy money. If I can stand on stage (which I can't...

Everybody always talking about "don't drink the koolaid" .. Hmm That Jezebel spirit is everywhere. I'm working on a Study about Psalm 1 and not walking in the counsel of the ungodly and stumbled over this whole story. And in the Book of Numbers this time it's a He. Balaam telling the women of...

Midian: And the sons of Midian; Ephah, Ephah = "gloomy" and Epher, Epher = "a calf" and Hanoch, Enoch = "dedicated" and Abida, Abida or Abidah = "my father knows" and Eldaah. Eldaah = "God has known" All these were the children of Keturah. And Abraham gave all that he had unto Isaac. But unto...

Brethren, if a man be overtaken in a fault, ye which are spiritual, restore such an one in the spirit of meekness; considering thyself, lest thou also be tempted. Bear ye one another's burdens, and so fulfil the law of Christ. For if a man think himself to be something, when he is nothing, he...

The Steward and the Son. Gen 15:2 And Abram said, Lord GOD, what wilt thou give me, seeing I go childless, and the steward of my house is this Eliezer of Damascus? Gen 15:3 And Abram said, Behold, to me thou hast given no seed: and, lo, one born in my house is mine heir. Do you suppose...

Acts chapter 7. The Journey. How God reached down and walked and talked with Abraham and gave him a promise because he obeyed God. He made an agreement in the flesh through pain and suffering and healing, that they were his chosen. He promised him land to raise the faithful even though Abraham...
