1Ki 21:4 And Ahab came into his house heavy and displeased because of the word which Naboth the Jezreelite had spoken to him: for he had said, I will not give thee the inheritance of my fathers. And he laid him down upon his bed, and turned away his face, and would eat no bread. 1Ki 21:5 But...

I agree. However, we do have problems with some police. And the ones in charge of running the police departments. Tell you what I think, during one or two of the last administrations they filled the police stations with some very shifty characters. And they target certain people mostly...

1Ki 18:17 And it came to pass, when Ahab saw Elijah, that Ahab said unto him, Art thou he that troubleth Israel? 1Ki 18:18 And he answered, I have not troubled Israel; but thou, and thy father's house, in that ye have forsaken the commandments of the LORD, and thou hast followed Baalim. 1Ki...

I think she means, God is in control no need to question why... anything. In times of loss or something that happens, we say why God? Why did this happen? And she says that we are not to question why. And I didn't really understand until I wrote that post a while ago, that what she was probably...

What is MIL?

I just know I was glad when it was over. farouk, I rather not talk about this topic anymore. I realize it must be something you enjoy talking about, but it makes me uncomfortable. It was something I did in the past and it's over. I don't want another one. Please forgive me if this sounds rude...

I like Senator Tim Scott. He came up with a bill for Police reform. I read it. It touched on everything that seems to be at the heart of the racial divide. Problem was the democrats felt it didn't go far enough so they wouldn't even have it brought to the floor. I see the problem is do it our...

I'm going to back up a bit. I had to eat.. I forget sometimes..lol 1Ki 18:1 And it came to pass after many days, that the word of the LORD came to Elijah in the third year, saying, Go, shew thyself unto Ahab; and I will send rain upon the earth. 1Ki 18:2 And Elijah went to shew himself unto...

The Establisment Democrats want votes so they can stay in power. They will recruit Black leaders and convince them, usually through money and power, to do it their way. This goes for all races. And frankly both sides do it. No matter how you look at it. This is a ping pong game, they have the...

Thank You Bobby Jo, I read somewhere this morning that FB and I assume all of Google and twitter and whatever other big brother authority is roaming the web, has decided for us, that we can't talk about that. So Thank you for the reminder. It's hard starting from scratch :) HUGS

I know I know... Rev 22:2 In the midst of the street of it, and on either side of the river, was there the tree of life, which bare twelve manner of fruits, and yielded her fruit every month: and the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations. How can one tree be on both sides of...

So the question was about being able to move things or change a structure of a thing with words.. hmm. what are thoughts? They are words put into action by the doing.. the creating.. Thinking.. HUGS

Thank You We do it all the time. You have to think of a widget before you can make it. There has to be some amount of "faith" to believe that the thought in your head will actually become a material thing. If you didn't believe that you could produce the thing you thought of, then why bother...

Jezebel keeps a pretty low profile. She is found in 1 and 2 Kings and only 1 time in the book of Revelation. Jezebel.. the beginning: 1Ki 16:29 And in the thirty and eighth year of Asa king of Judah began Ahab the son of Omri to reign over Israel: and Ahab the son of Omri reigned over Israel in...

Lessons of life. And God created examples for us to learn by. I am learning to take every story, every book, and turn it so it is about my walk with God. How do I measure up? If I find fault in a character, does that same fault lie in me? If I find a good one, do I strive to be like that, are...

Rev 2:20 Notwithstanding I have a few things against thee, because thou sufferest that woman Jezebel, which calleth herself a prophetess, to teach and to seduce my servants to commit fornication, and to eat things sacrificed unto idols. For some reason the wife of Job led me to think of this...

I don't know much about this woman... yet I know she doesn't have a very good reputation. Who is she? What did she do? Is the spirit of Jezebel still active? How does she affect us spiritually? Thoughts? HUGS
