The LORD IS my shepherd. As long as the LORD or Lord IS your shepherd, you definitely have the blessing to believe that you will dwell in the house of the Lord forever. If He stops being your shepherd, you're in trouble. But, of course, you don't believe this is possible.

Taken, I've said what 1 John 3:9 means. It does NOT mean that we don't sin. It means that we do not LIVE A LIFE OF SIN. Why not look this up in a commentary? You depend too much on one verse. Another no no.

Those that feel everything must be crossed and dotted are still depending on themselves for salvation. If we could have done this, the New Covenant would not have been necessary. And yes, we could leave God (however improbable) but HE WILL NEVER LEAVE US.
