Once Saved....always Saved - Results of Questionnaire.

    Past midnight. Tomorrow. Good night.

Once Saved....always Saved - Results of Questionnaire.

Man is composed of body soul spirit which of these would YOU say the mind is? The brain is physical, but the mind is the soul. I cannot be seen but we know we have a soul. In the O.T. the heart was at times called the spirit and the soul was at times called the heart. We cannot determine...

Once Saved....always Saved - Results of Questionnaire.

Our thought begin in the soul, that would be our mind. Then they move into our spirit. When our spirit moves far from God, we are in danger of being lost. Many times we can be angry with God or think that we've had enough. But spontaneous thought are not sin, but an action of the soul. It's...

Once Saved....always Saved - Results of Questionnaire.

How do any of us know anything about others for sure? We can only know our relationship with God and maybe the relationship those close to us have with Him. My husband is not born again. I've had to learn to live with this...but again, no one knows the heart of another. Once we get to...

Once Saved....always Saved - Results of Questionnaire.

I don't know that anyone is a "pure" arminian or a "pure" Calvinist. So it's good to just discuss the ideas of each. Or the doctrine, I should say. My father died of Alzheimer's. He was a born again person, out of the Catholic church and ended up with Protestant doctrinal beliefs. He was 87...

Once Saved....always Saved - Results of Questionnaire.

Are you speaking about total depravity? The tongue analogy is kind of like @tabletalk's alzheimer analogy. When you take scripture out of context and change what it means, you have to then come up with ideas that make no sense. Please stick to scripture so we could have an adult conversation...

Show me where my free will choice has been removed. There is no scripture that will prove this to be true. @Taken

Once Saved....always Saved - Results of Questionnaire.

P.S. The alzheimer's example is rather silly. Do you not believe that God is a JUST God??

Once Saved....always Saved - Results of Questionnaire.

I believe we have free will. I believe that free will is not taken away when we become born again. Adam and Eve had free will to eat the forbidden fruit. They had free will to disobey God. Unless you can show me WHEN or HOW we lost this free will, I'll have to believe that we have free will to...

    Surely I'm a Wacko!

Luke 14:25-31 Counting The Cost before we set out to be disciples: Discipleship Tested 25Now large crowds were going along with Him; and He turned and said to them, 26“If anyone comes to Me, and does not hate his own father and mother and wife and children and brothers and sisters, yes...

    Upon Death

1 Thessalonians 5:10? who died for us, so that whether we are awake or asleep, we will live together with Him. Soul sleep is not taught in the New Testament. Even the pharisees believed in life after death. I'm not sure, but I believe the SDA believe in soul sleep.

    Surely I'm a Wacko!

Some sites are very strict. I'm not sure why. I believe we're all entitled to what we believe --- no one can force us to believe any differently than we do. I may have a different belief system than you do, but you're entitled to your beliefs. I don't use the word "opinion" because I hope...

    Are you catholic?

Yes. I caught this... He might be tired!
  14. GodsGrace

    Are you catholic?

One reason is that it takes too long. Another reason is that everyone drinks from the same cup and it's not sanitary. I like how little paper cups are used in most Protestant churches.

    Are you catholic?

Can you at least admit that your church is an exeption?

    Are you catholic?

Jesus is everywhere. So how could we say that He's more real in the Eucharist? What could be more real than real??? The real presence....kids don't understand this and no one I know does. I'll give you an answer after.

    Are you catholic?

    IF I'm a Christian?? You're so nice.
  18. GodsGrace

    Are you catholic?

That wasn't what I asked you to explain, but no problem. Thanks for reminding me what the santissimo is called.
  19. GodsGrace

    Are you catholic?

I'll answer you. No. It's not done anymore. However, both elements are in the host... The body and the blood.
  20. GodsGrace

    Are you catholic?

Oh yeah. A lot of kids want to know how come Jesus is all over but He's REALLY in the eucharist or in the Santissimo (can't remember the English word). Please explain that.
