I don't understand why you are questioning the function of time and capability.

Evasion? I agreed with the verse you posted. It's just that the verse does not say Jesus is God. If I come out of the White House, does that make me POTUS?

No concept of agency, whatsoever. When Isaiah said to prepare for the way of the LORD, why do you not conclude that he is God too? He also said I am the first and last.

God is unchanging, right?

A poetic way to say Jesus is a prophet. This is what prophets do, speak the word of God but while they are in a human body. It means Jesus is not God but God put his words into the mouth of one of the people of Israel - just like God said in Acts he'd do for his servant Jesus. “The Lord your...

I have no problem admitting God's Anointed came from and went to heaven. Doesn't make him God.

I know you believe that. No evidence can alter your belief. This is because you lack faith in the living God to act today. This was the sermon topic Sunday. You did not hit a nerve. I did. Hence, your many multi-paragraph posts, rationalizing your lack of faith. ;)

No. No rationalization that means he was God. He was not God and that is why he was given authority, by the Creator, his God and our Father. And this is explained explicitly below. Note the juxtaposition of God (not "the Father" but God - in his unitarian nature) from Jesus, only the case...

Circular reasoning. If they backslid, then they were never born again to begin with.

So, what are your thoughts on Psalm 110:1 - in any translation you prefer.

Scripture says over and over again, not that he became a man, but that he IS a man. Even if men become men, it does not men they are God. How come you cannot understand that?

Not one time does Scripture tell us Jesus is the Creator. A simple way to know is that trinitarians attempt to impose their doctrine onto unitarian text. That is, there is always a valid way to interpret Scritpture that undermines the inherently contradictory doctrine. And always keep in mind...

I know. Rather than take a gander at v15, he re-quoted v14, saying it was clear enough for him. Talk about Willful Ignorance!

I do dream on. It makes life so much more fun. :D

I'm OK with that. Someone else pointed out that they agree and disagree with me on this point. It's too ambivalent for me. LOL

Oy vey! I am surprised at how literally you are taking this verse. "I never knew you" cannot literally apply to an all knowing deity. Obviously, these miracles were performed by God's power through Christ's name. It's just that the conduit of God's grace also backslid, failing to do the will of...

Dear AJ, no one is taking credit for this miracle. And I know your religion prohibits recognizing modern day miracles - even though they happen all the time. Aren't we his temple?

Dear AJ, you want answers. This is your Achilles Heel, your idol of knowledge shows itself again. The Bible teaches faith over knowledge time and again. You don't want to hear this. From today's Devotional Reading: 12 Now all we can see of God is like a cloudy picture in a mirror. Later we...

Ye of little faith. God who is in control of all things and even counts the hair on our head is not involved this miracle?! Come on now. Isaiah 45:6-7. Luke 12:7 "No" is an answer to a prayer. We don't often rejoice immediately when God says no but we usually rejoice right away when the...

If I can find out about this, I'll let you know.
