Hey - if you want to cover your eyes and plug your ears - be my guest. The Scriptural record is blindingly clear on Peter's primacy. I and others have given you piles of Scriptural evidence - and all you can do is deny. Here is some of the evidence again, in case you forgot . . . a. Tell me...

It's the same way today. No ONE Bishop can make a decision affecting the entire Church - EXCEPT for the Bishop of Rome, the Pope. Corporately, they can rule on matters affecting the Church at large - even infallibly. Binding and loosing isn't just about forgiving sins. Jesus said WHATEVER you...

I defy YOU to walk into a lake or a river by going UP. It is physically impossible to do so. EVERYBODY who enters these bodies of water goes DOWN into the water. Here's another dilemma for you: It is written that on the day of Pentecost - about 3,000 people were baptized in Jerusalem. There is...

Really?? Where does the Bible "command" what you are claiming in RED above. As for the rest - I can't MAKE you believe in history when your eyes and ears are glued shut. The plain fact of the matter is that the Fish symbol (ICHTHUS) is an early Christian symbol depicting Christ. Only the Holy...

I'm done discussing this subject with you until you stop lying. I have told you repeatedly that the congregation DOES get to drink from the cup but you refuse to accept this answer. All I can say at this point is - grow up Stranger. As for me it's time to heed Scripture regarding this...

As I stated before - the Bible NEVER describes ho an actual Baptism is done. HOWEVER - the 1st century document, The Didache (Teachings of the Twelve Apostles) DOES describe it. This document was written while most of the apostles were STILL alive: Chapter 7. Concerning Baptism And concerning...

WOW - you're even more ignorant than I thought. From Christianity Today - NOT a Catholic publication: When did the cross supplant the ichthus (fish) as a symbol of the Christian faith? Early Christians used a wide variety of symbols to express their faith. The second-century Christian teacher...

It reminds ME of when He said: Matt. 28:20 And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.” And He HAS been . . .

Hmmmm . . . so, according to YOU - every Early Church Father from Ignatius of Antioch to Augustine and beyond was in heresy regarding the Eucharist? Every single one of them unanimously taught and believed in the Real Presence - but YOU are correct and they are all wrong? You're saying that...

You're still missing the point. Jesus tells Peter, “whatever YOU (singular) shall bind on earth shall be bound in heaven, and whatever YOU (singular) shall loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.” In Matt. 18:18, He says, to the Twelve, “whatever YOU (all) bind on earth shall be bound in...

Why do you keep lying when you know I'm going to nail you on it every time?? You keep making the false claim that the Church "denies" the cup to the congregation - even AFTER I educated you on the fat that it doesn't. As to your second asinine comment in RED - try this: Bite off a chunk of your...

Ummmm - EVERYBODY'S sins have been paid for. This is Redemption. NOT everybody's sins have been forgiven. That takes our cooperation. NOWHERE doe the Bible tell us - nor does it even IMPLY that once we are born again, we cannot lose our secure position. As I have presented DOZENS of times now...

Jewish ritual bathing was about outward cleanliness. This is why Peter makes the point that Baptism is not about removing dirt from the BODY - but about the pledge of a clear conscience toward God.

Another historically-bankrupt statement from our historically-ignorant friend, Phenomenon777 . . . Are you honestly telling us that you are that ignorant of the fact that the Early Church sign for Christianity was a Fish?? You DON'T know this?? The symbol was referred to as the "ichthus"...

This is a really silly argument. FIRST of all - the Catholic Church has NEVER rejected the idea of full immersion baptism. Secondly - you must "go down into" EVERY river in the world because they are ALL lower that their banks. You must "Come up" out of every river for the SAME reason. Simple...

Uh huh - because of our SIN -- OUR sin. GOD (Jesus) bled because of OUR SIN.

I'll go even further than that - it is HETERODOX.

That's a pathetically-ignorant understanding of Roman torture. History and archaeology informs us that the instruments used in scourging were NOT simply leather whips. The ends of the whips were fashioned with metal, bone, claws and anything else they could attach that would rip apart the...

And again - YOUR view of Sola Scriptura doesn't match ALL Protestant versions. Many Protestant sects believe that a teaching must be explicitly described or it is not true. There are literally tens of thousands of perpetually-splintering Protestant sects out there teaching different doctrines...

You seem to be preoccupied with the sex scandal that rocked the Catholic Church. Are you at ALL concerned about the far greater numbers of sexual molestations going on in your own Protestant churches - or do you just turn a blind, hypocritical eye?? 'Spotlight': It's not just a Catholic problem...
