NOWHERE does Scripture describe a Baptism and how it is performed. I have been to MANY different Protestant Baptisms and they do them differently. Some dunk the person backwards - and some dunk them forward. Some dunk the three times. - some dunk once. If YOU believe the Bible to be our SOLE...

Not being "dishonest" at ALL. I have repeatedly stated that I am an Extraordinary Minister of Holy Communion - and I not only partake of the cup - I offer it to the entire congregation.

Look - if yo're going to continue to lie - then what is the point of this conversations?? I am an Extraordinary Minister of Holy Communion. Not only do I partake of the cup - I offer it to the entire congregation. To make the FALSE claim that the Church "denies" the cup to the congregation is...

This thread is about OSAS. the verses you sited say NOTHING about initial salvation being a permanent condition. The dozen or so verses I have repeatedly posted DO warn that this condition CAN change. You fail to understand because you refuse to read my posts. I already told you that verses...

That is a good answer. Thank you.

The "bathing" of Baptism has NOTHING to do with outward cleanliness the way Jewish baptisms did. 2 Pet. 3:21 "... and this water symbolizes BAPTISM that now SAVES YOU also--not the removal of dirt from the body but the pledge of a clear conscience toward God. It saves you by the resurrection of...

That is absolutely FALSE. The instructions were from ALL the Apostles. It says: Acts 15:23-28 The APOSTLES AND ELDERS, your brothers, To the Gentile believers in Antioch, Syria and Cilicia: Greetings. WE have heard that some went out from US without OUR authorization and disturbed you...

I never said that Sola Scriptura meant that everything had to "spelled out" explicitly - although there ARE protestants who believe this. NOT every Protestant adheres to the Baptist Confession. The perpetual splintering that is Protestantism allows for a wide range of aberrant beliefs - and...

In other words - you don't have a valid response. You can't show me ANY historical evidence of ANY Christian Church before the Catholic Church. All you can show is the endless splinters that arose after the 16th century. YOUR sect over at "aggressivechristianity.net" didn't come about until...

No - Rom. 10:9 is about Initial Salvation. It says absolutely NOTHING about it being a "permanent" condition. 1 Cor. 15:16-19 is about those who who have fallen asleep (died) IN Christ. these are people who endured in faith until the end. As I stated before - verses 15 - 20 are about false...

Thank you for that roundabout dodging of my question. As for Christ's Sacrifice - it's ETERNAL (Rev. 13:8). As for why an altar for offering sacrifice - ask God. NOT everything is spelled out explicitly in Scripture . . .

Actually - Jesus never said that there wouldn't be a leader among them. They were nickering about who would be regarded as the greatest. It was then that Jesus said that they would NOT be like worldly leaders who confer upon themselves positions of greatness. He said that the one who would be...

This is a Biblically-bankrupt statement. The other Apostles HID in the Upper Room - along with Peter. They all abandoned Him (Mark 14:50). YOU'RE saying that they didn't abandon Him and lose faith?? Again - what perverse translation of Scripture are YOU reading?? They ALL lost faith - but...

This is such a woefully-ignorant statement on so many levels, it's difficult to know just where to begin . . . First of all - the Pope did not redeem ANYBODY this week. In fact NO Pope or anybody else has ever redeemed a single person except for Jesus Christ. Secondly - the Pope did not give...

Thanks for that immature response . . . I simply educated you on the definition of "Pray" - and not only does it NOT always mean "worship" - that is a SECONDARY definition. The PRIMARY definition meas TO ASK. I don't know which perverted translation of Scripture YOU'RE reading - but MY Bible...

Oh, great. Ummmm, could you show me where the Bible says that once we are saved we cannot lose our secure position Chapter and verse, please . . .

We're not talking about the Mass - we're talking about Confession. What YOU said was either a malicious lie - or an case of extreme ignorance of the Catholic faith. Take your pick - but it wasn't the truth . . .

I can't believe that you lie about Catholics "worshiping" Mary or anybody else other than God. Now THAT'S a disgrace . . .

How can God be greater than God?? Acts 9:4-5 He (Saul) fell to the ground, and then he heard a voice saying, 'Saul, Saul, why are you persecuting ME?' 'Who are you, Lord?' he asked, and the answer came, 'I am Jesus, whom you are persecuting. Saul was persecuting the CHURCH - yet Jesus asked...

Maybe that's because you have accused the Church of teaching false doctrine before. NEITHER of us are "new" to this forum . . .
